Good Evening All

I totally agree with wasp,

I think this week should be a massive pipper.

I see the cable definately going higher as this was just a minor correction....
Also Friday the big day......I personally think the rates will be on hold.
Lets wait and see
Happy Trading Guys

a guy on elite trader predicting a
black Monday for today
we shall see !!

Black Monday for people who are long? Then logically a golden Monday for people who are short? And vice-versa.
Right/wrong, win/lose -its all relative, aint it? ;)

yes ,but I like to be able look at things , and consider them
as long as there is lots of movement up or down
thats ok for me

I have a feeling I shouldnt have gone short at 1.8735!

Why not? Looks like a good short to me. I am on the sidelines at the moment looking for 760 before I short again.

EUR/NOK on the move

For thos that trade the skandi's, EUR/NOK is making a bit of a move this morning.

It's already looking like today will be another day of small moves. Wish I'd been in on the big Asian time zone moves last week.

Ok, I admit it, I am bored!

change of state: I have an uptrend condition at 12-noon. Looking to exit for break-even.

if you thought that was a Pin bar it should have been traded when priced passed the "nose." I think a buy stop would have been recommended. just my opinion though.
(Back to marking student assignments....)

nice run up this morning on the euro / norwegian / krone
cmc spread is 50 pts !
it concentrates the mind a bit

agree completely, neil.
(Phil Newtron Bomb has a video tutorial about the Pin-bars on his website. about 30mins worth)

My challenge for this week:
Note all patterns that have been described in multiple ways.
find a 2-bar bearish engulfing on one time-frame that makes a short-trade pin-bar on another.
find a 2-bar bullish engulfing on one time-frame that makes a long-trade pin-bar on another.
find a head-and-shoulders pattern where the head and right-shoulder is a ross 1-2-3.

EDIT: any others ?

Very dull on Cable at the mo and I have no position. I have a HUGE (well by my standards anyway!) short on the Dow so will be concentrating on that for now. Maybe Cable will wake up in my absence!

Good luck Zuke. Evening star on the daily charts which I'm sure you've seen and the risk reward looks pretty good, although I think I'm too late now. A drop below 700 in the futures should be very promising...

If this comes off, Ill probably take a bit of time away.. I posted a live call on the Dow board on Friday that I was short from 734 and some people thought I was too premature. The trade has gone +50 so I took 1/3 off the table and moved my stop to b/e. If it does drop..I reckon it could be fireworks!
