Morning all,

UK data eyed slightly softer by some, so that'll be a northern run then come 9:30 :cheesy: Don't mind which direction she goes, just so long as she goes.

Long at 42 and would have expected strong inflation figures to have sent the pound much higher. Really surprised that EUR/GBP is virtually unchanged from before 9.30. Hopeful of a decent move higher to around 8700. Stop at 22

Hmmmm. Short 8642. I seem to be out of step here, again.

i exited my short , at 621, but i'm thinking about reinstating it, if I can pick up extra pips over and
above my system that's great, but long term my system seems to be worth following.

according to my probability framework 58% chance of hitting 8695 and 54% chance of
reversing to 597, equilibrium around 8648, so i am short again at 8662

Unfortunately my system now indicates long with a first target of .8694 and then .8734. I will hang on short for a while and look for an opportunity to slip out. GBP looks way over priced against the Euro which is giving me some hope, but not a lot.

Of the five currencies I monitor 4 are indicating a change of trend against the dollar, only the Euro is not.

Missed all the fun and games this morning. I am now:

LONG 8618 (3 lots)
Target 1 8673 (scale out 1 lot and move stop to b/e)
Final Target 8775 (close both lots)
Stop 8568

Target 1 hit! for +53.
Stop moved to b/even. I now have 2 lots running from:
LONG 8618

Stop 8618

Will leave to run til stop or target hit.

Give it an hour Trendie (12:30 London time) if there is no retrace to >8650 then I'd add to the position.

looks like an ending diagonal at 1.8682, (11:40 5min bar) if anyone follows Elliott waves, but i usually
get them wrong. if it is there may be a decent correction now.

It could go up a lot more or retrace back to 8600, just wait for the US numbers.
