Hi chaps
my position is larger than normal but still within comfort level, Ive been trading at my normal size for some time now and due to some large pip trades this is having the effect of reducing the % return on capital so its time to kick it a nickel

Morning all. Pound still seems a one way bet at the moment but surely we must see a retracement soon. The following has nothing to do with trading but is pretty funny..

You should do this before someone at Google fixes it......

1. go to www.google.com
2. click on "maps"
3. click on "get directions"
4. type "New York" in the first box (the "from" box)
5. type "London" in the second box (the "to" box)

6. click "Get Directions" button
7
. scroll down to step #23

From Thomson;

London, April
18. Cable has rallied to fresh 15-year highs just shy of the 2.0100 in early
European trade. 2.0100 was the September 1992 high, and a level at which exotic
option exposure is located. 2.0063-2.0089 was today"s Asian session range.
More option barriers are tipped at 2.0150, 2.0175, 2.0200, 2.0250, 2.0300,
2.0450 and 2.0500+.
2.0089 is now a pullback support point. Lower props include 2.0074
(yesterday"s high), 2.0063, 2.0035 (yesterday"s London morning top), and 2.0000.
2.0000 option strikes expire at the 14:00GMT NY cuts today and tomorrow.
Minutes from the April 4/5 BoE MPC meeting will be published at 08:30GMT. At
least two committee members--Sentance and Besley, are likely to have voted for a
25bp hike. Blanchflower voted for a 25bp cut last month--but may have switched
to "hold" this month. A 25bp hike to 5.5% next month (May 10) is now fully
priced in, re: March"s annualized UK CPI rise to 3.1%. UK unemployment and
earnings data is also due at 08:30GMT.

Morning All
everything looks over sold today

looking for some sort of turning point

nice sunny day here , 5 mins from the sea front

waiting for the news at 9.30
the b.o.e. mins at 9.30, will be interesting ,
as yesterday it was announced that inflation has gone up to 3.1%
this news may already be in the price
just going to wait

Are you still in your short DC or did the run into 2.0100 hit your stop ?

moring all

im flat, and will stay flat. have to go out in 20 mins.

given price action until now, I am getting a measured move with a target 2.0272 wonder if it will get there, or if it will simply tank in the next 10 mins.

good trading

ouch this smarts a little I may have to narrow my profit expectancy

Long before the news but squared 2/3 at 124 as I think the probability of a move lower now is even higher than that might be the last hurrah. DC might be ok but I wouldn't like to be sitting on his liabilites but then I guess I wouldn't mind his capital base either.....

profit target now 9974 then look to re load the position

right now only a 156 before the US open would have me looking for a B/E exit
