Your first point is wrong - Trump, Reagan and Bush cannot have literally been mentally retarded - they all three succeeded significantly in multiple previous professional pursuits and then moved into politics - at which they all three succeeded at the highest level imaginable. Your second point is right but your reasoning is incomplete. Does the world laugh at Trump, Reagan and Bush? Yes. But there hasn't been a US president who was not laughed at since JF Kennedy. They have all been laughed at. Yet its possible to think that Kennedy remains so revered partly because he was assassinated early in life - he simply didn't have enough years in the job in which to royally screw up like the others. I think all this shows is that the world has a healthy scepticism towards politicians of all parties and most of the world is free enough to express their disdain. But much of that freedom is due to the US.

The point regarding whether any intelligent people support Trump is the most insidious. Your observation suggests distrust in US democracy, since its a historical fact that Trump was elected president, and you appear to blame stupid voters for this event. Three things can be supposed that you might wish to suggest to prevent this happening again -
