Geopolitics and the Consequences

The EU is a top heavy, typical, democratic muddle imho.
Merkel looks in bad shape now. Her hands are very shakey.
Probably fall apart when Britain leaves.
A pity they are so stuck on integration, open door immigration etc.

May is determined to go out with a bang not a wimper it seems and perhaps take the country down with her.
Having threatened Russia by sending an aircraft carrier to the Baltic now she has started a row with China over Hong Kong.
She should have been sacked last year. Just looks stupid with laughable threats.

It would be better imho to be pragmatic about the oil tankers and have a swop. Give the Iranian Ayatollah clerics their little pyrrhic victory and we won't have to test a doubtful special alliance and a fading EU membership alliance.

The Hong Kong protestors are in dire trouble. Forces are currently building up across the border by mainland China,
Continued protests and riots are directly challenging Xi's authority who will soon order in the army to crack down.
Britain is in turmoil itself and is too weak to help while the USA has its own problems at the top.
Britain needs a trade deal with China and is likely to think of that.
The protestors have made their point and should be advised to stop.

We've already seen celebs, politicians and pop stars capitulating to Chinese pressure to support the Chinese side, this is going to be similar to every other protest where globalist and MSM support for totalitarian regimes leaves protesters in the lurch, we've seen it in France, the UK and Germany already.

What is needed is more populist governments that do not bow to totalitarian globalist ideolology and therefore do not bow to countries such as China, the US, UK etc.

We've also seen what giving a say to mass public does to any state governance too.

Most decent law upstanding countries have extradition rules for criminals. Why is Hong Kong any different?

Guy commits murder and flees to Hong Kong, land of freedom and in-justice! Really? Surely that's not right.

Not only that US and UK hell bent on pooh stirring. I reckon US should focus on its own human rights abuses. Look at the ME. Iraq, Syria and even it's own mainland with poilce shooting first then asking questions.

So much hypocrisy all over the place it's difficult to sort out the brown stuff from the right stuff.

Listened to some talk recently on an international channel and the at a high level, Europe is working together in collaboration with Russia, China and Iran. It's all about trade and business. In stark contrast US and UK braking away and pushing a singular view of how the World should be. In doing so they are marching towards irrelevance.

I reckon China will sooner or later take over leadership and with Russia implement a new Gold backed currency trading regime. Dollar and US will then fade into another has been. Only a matter of time if UK & US overplay their hands stirring up stuff all over the world. Heading in wrong strategic direction imo. (n)

The Chinese are trying to implement a European arrest warrant style of extradition for HK, totally undemocratic, the EU version doesn't need evidence, just a nod of the head to get someone sent straight to the gulag, if you fall on the side of support for the EU, then naturally you will fawn over the Chinese also, commies in it together :p

Take note of how HK residents are looking to the UK for help, lots of Union Jacks on show. What is the MSM bias on the matter?

Just another set of disgruntled ideologies in the geopolitical life of the planet. It's being going on for millennia and it will go on for millennia.

Have the HK protests been an American subversion exercise all along or a hijacked opportunity close to the start?

People should have the right to a fair trial if they object to being extradited. Some of the planet's regimes are not decent, fair or friendly. regrettably China is one of them , although they may have improved from past years. The Tianamen square riots conjure up the State monster disappearing or murdering people who have a genuine protest.
Atilla, a natural dissident, wouldn't last very long there before being thrown into prison or worse imho.

European arrest warrant is exactly the same, you can be extradited without evidence. EU = China.

Another good reason to leave. Seems more than probable that the extreme right could take over there as they juggle the bits into position and whammmmo

What will not last much longer is US supremacy and UK's position on the international stage.

Just look at the mess in Iraq and Syria and as they try for Iran. Despite all US efforts to isolate Iran, US looks more isolated her self on the Paris accord and nuclear agreements.

EU Russia and China will come closer together and trade will flourish.

Timing of these riots in HK are highly coincidental given US tariff and currency wars with China. Don't expect situ to get any better but probably worse. There is India and Pakistan heating up in the region too. Coincidental or intended, who can say?
