FTSE 100 intraday trading - JUNE 2003

I trade mainly the FTSE and UK stocks.
but only stocks from a stable of about 20/25

Old friends are good friends.
you get to know their characteristics.

PS: I am long at 37

just back to see my position -45 ..doh! wiping out the days gains +12, ill hold and see if there is some bounce if not ill bail with a loss,.

Why did you choose mybroker and not IB boy?

been with mybroker a while, they have a good platform and the telephone backup is first class.

i read some place that ib have poor phone backup and money account probs?

Yes I heard about non-existent phone back-up!The sign up for IB is like pulling teeth! But most seem to think it's worth it. I'm just desperate to escape spreadbetting,it's stopping me trading in the manner in which I'm confident. It has to be futures for me.

feel rather irritated with myself today
with the benefit of hindsight should
have left my short at 142 in place for about 55pts.
Instead I only managed 23.
but with 8 this morning 31 on the day is ok.
could/should have been +63
and that annoys.
