There has to be a D notice slapped onto reporting of the EU Defence Union, there’s no other explanation for the first few mins of this report.

Funny how that guy refers to Elton John as treating his people with disgust and contempt only to then treat Elton as not English but European.

I believe people are what they choose to be. Elton John doesn't stop being English. His an English European.
Presenter proceeds to say that's how the Elite are viewing Brexit. It's like the so called Elite don't have an opinion that counts if it disagrees with the Brexiteers view of what it means to be English. That's ofcourse if you think Elton John is an elite. He is simply a showman having a rant.

Brexiteers are now turning this into how British you are based on whether you want to be in EU or not. What a farce. Brexit means you are British. Remain means you are European. What a load of tosh.

Don't understand why you are bringing my name into some daft debate SC.

It's like throwing sh!t at someone by association. I object mi lard brain.

I told you Elton John can be what ever he likes and say what he likes. All people can be whatever they like however they perceive themselves.

If you endorse some daft clip labelling Sir Elton John (CBE) a Treacherous Brit because you don't like his pov it says more about you and your kind then honest Elton John.

In the context of Brexit, it's probably more helpful to distinguish these groups as Globalist vs Popularist or Globalist vs Patriot. Whereby Globalists are europhiles and Populists are eurosceptic as both these groups cross all sorts of boundaries.

The term 'elites' in the context of Brexit refers mostly to the liberal elites who by virtue of their upbringing and education have become 'superior' to the rest of us and regard 'the people' with contempt for their lower intelligence. They mainly have socialist tendencies (hence the rise of champagne socialists especially in London). All sounds good to 30% but a total useless factless and detrimental conduct to further divide and split country and worse split UK away from superior national interest that lies in alliance with the EU and growing economies facing due East.
