Utter chaos, but at least Brexit is still on the cards, no to revoking A50 and no to a people’s vote [emoji1360]
One wonders whether they have come up with a plan to walk away from the deal after it’s been signed and May has left, There must be something in the pipeline for the sudden U-turn.Apparently Boris will now support the May deal and JRM will if DUP don’t vote against, abstain will do. Beginning to look as though she’ll get it through.
It’s parliamentary etiquette to call those MP’s in your party “Right honourable friend “. And those on the opposing party “Right honourable gentleman/Lady”. Even though the honour left them some time ago..One fascinating and extremely annoying aspect of parliament that I was watching on Bloomberg Live is how disorderly it behaves. It took the speaker 20 minutes give or take to shut the peanut gallery of MPs up. It was utterly absurd. No wonder nothing ever gets done because it takes an age before everybody will shut up and listen to the next person who has been asked to speak by the Speaker.
Here I was thinking British people are polite. We may be cowboyish, loud and routy, but watching any kind of congressional hearing is like watching paint dry here. The flow is surprisingly efficient, yet we never seem to get anything done either. However, people who refuse to shut up when the Speaker of House speaks are promptly escorted out by Capitol Police.
Why does the Speaker keep saying, "the right honorable gentlemen .... " this and "the right honorable gentlemen ..." that? That also takes an age.
Oh is it really !Apparently Boris will now support the May deal and JRM will if DUP don’t vote against, abstain will do. Beginning to look as though she’ll get it through.
We came to that conclusion a 1000 posts ago didn't weI’m sure there’s been major collusion between No10 and the EU behind closed doors to deliver some form of Brexit but also keep us locked in to the union. What was agreed will never see the light of day.
I don't think so.Just a tad ott Atilla, dear fellow
If you were the EU or One of the leaders of a member country looking in on the UK situation. You would have to come to the conclusion that we are way more trouble than we're worth. The only logical position they can take is to kick our asses into the middle of next week Why on earth would they even want our representatives in their parliament in Mays election? TM has indicated she will depart if we pass her crappy deal, so there's no continuity for them there. If her deal doesn't pass, they will have to keep on listening to her whining on about getting our parliament to agree this and that. They know full well that our time is up, that we have blown it, not good enough to get a deal.We came to that conclusion a 1000 posts ago didn't we
Ultimately we are headed for no deal, even if the parliamentary idiots reach a conclusion on a deal, it won't be palatable to the EU, who will just reject, reject, reject, all these votes are a waste of time, roll on EU elections, let's have some extra fireworks
I don't know, i'm beyond caring.?got ‘til 12 April now haven’t they.
FlipFlopper you say.We still don't believe any of your outrage.
