Brexit and the Consequences

As I understand it, it is the EU nations like Spain. Portugal. France, Netherlands etc. who are doing the fish pillaging thanks to inept political ninnies from the past. They are unlikely to stop their own.
Another good reason to quit the EU.
But if we have signed away our defence to the EU, and we have run down our own military to be part of the wider defence union, then who would be defending whom from whom and with what, exactly?

At last we have some principled MPs in the Tory party, country before party, no wait, is that in defiance of the public vote? Ah well just send them to the gulag then, bunch of idiots.

Remoaners so desperate to prevent Brexit they would rather install an opposition PM. Even the Libdems haven't stooped so low and that is a very low bar to get under indeed.

Remoaners are on the ropes and they know it.

Never seen such political hysteria as we have currently. Fantastic entertainment mind...much better than anything on telly.

Looking forward to the election where there will be a mass clear out of duffer MP's and a Govt then tasked with making a success out of Brexit. Which is what we should have been doing 3 yrs ago.

Another master stroke from the Libdems... (y)(y)

Get rid of Corbyn and thwart Brexit tosh.

Jo Swinson: Clarke and Harman prepared to lead emergency government
The bar has been lowered we are mere millimeters from the ground, next step start digging, about 6 ft should do it.

Funny to see these wannabee PMs fighting amongst themselves. Power grabs, no country before self interest, ignore the public vote. They are all the same.

Except the actual PM says there will be Brexit, just as May did

No one is ignoring public vote.

Referendum was not legally binding. Advisory only.
Brexiteers win was marginal to say the least over a deceptive campaign loaded with temporary emotive issues.
Promises not really deliverable.
Parliament talked options to death.

Right now money is going to Germany seeking negative returns on safe bonds and UK has already lost billions of direct investment over uncertainty.

Fool hardy proposition full of false promises.

Country is in a mess.

Why Brexiteers and Eurosceptics don't want to just simply recap or take decision back to country in another referendum or new elections is just ludicrous. Not like time is running out.

Come up for some fresh air and a little oxygen. Not the end of the day is it?

Absolutely SICK and TIRED of hearing about peoples vote. What a farce. Someone needs to get a grip. (y)

We have been saying for a long time that you need to get a grip.

EU is done for. The cracks are everywhere for all to see. Might help if you take the blinkers off mind ! (y)

Funny isn't it that Brexiters are quite calm and confident in their position, whereas Remoaners are all running around like headless chickens clutching at the latest political straws.

If you take the typical voter in the UK, then the right of thinking have a natural majority without even breaking sweat.
Brexit Party only exists in order to keep the Conservatives true to traditional values and policies.
Corbyn's Labour are so full of sh1t that the voters instinctively know they can't be trusted with any level of power.
Swinson's so called Lib Dems are neither Liberal nor Democrat, but exist because there are enough, wrong of thinking, loons on the rampage who need a home.

There can only ever be One outcome. We will leave with No Deal and a govt will be formed that takes us on our new path.
40 odd years of having no say on who holds power has come to an abrupt end and all because "the people" were asked their opinion.

So given that the natural majority are "right of thinking", then we would be foolish indeed to ignore their answer. :) (y):ROFLMAO:

I wouldn't bet against an early election. If Johnson has any sense, he will call it. The natural majority, Cons, Brexit Party, are the right of thinking whilst the un-organised splintered Remoan party rabble will ensure that Brexit will happen on our terms. The last thing we need is rebel MP's setting the agenda, as happened under May. Johnson is made of sterner stuff and thankfully has a top adviser in Cummings. (y)
