Brexit and the Consequences

Conservative Brexiteer David Davis revealed yesterday: “I will be backing Dominic Raab in the forthcoming Conservative leadership contest.
“His unique combination of intellect, determination, decisiveness and courage means he is the best placed candidate to deliver on the opportunities Brexit presents.”

REALLY? :oops::oops::oops:

Just another opportunistic politician to me.

Only area I agree with him is on rejection of TM's botched so called deal that leaves the UK in limbo land, paying £39bn for a worse deal and not really satisfying Remainers or Brexiteers.

I'd be interested on how the rest will react. You know all the others who've still carrying their luggage trying to keep up.

They are obviously targeting Farage's Brexit Party. Some loyal blues going to have mixed emotions. Good to see you have openly declared your support for him. (y)

Question for the Torys (and Labour) is post-Brexit, post-May, who would be capable of preventing the discredited party(s) from losing the elections.

New political order could be ushered in leaving the liblabcons floundering.

Looks like the confirmatory ballot is on (y):arrowr:

Nigel Farage

@Nigel_Farage

The phoney war is over as UK Government confirms European elections on May 23rd. The Brexit Party wants your vote to restore faith in democracy. Our politicians have betrayed our trust.

That’s it then, out is out, it’s going to be a GE after the confirmatory ballot.

EU's Juncker says the EU should have 'interfered' in Brexit referendum

What's happened to the Labour party in the last 10 years for them to change their minds about the EU? They've become London centric, champagne socialists and abandoned the working classes, despite the veneer of 'for the many', they are as untrustworthy as the Tory remainers.

You need to ask the same question of the Tories.

As mentioned many times Labour was always anti-EU and tories along with Maggie was pro-EU.

These recent switch in camps imho are opportunists who are using EU as a blame game power opportunity for attaining top position in Government and ensuring vested interests.

Are these changes really based on rational decisions or just foolhardy enthusiasm to seise power, influence or monetary gains?
