Brexit and the Consequences

Is it any wonder the audience is angry when the BBC presents only 1 leaver on the panel. . .
. . . with a 67% bias towards remain according to Rod Liddle.
Bye the bye, for those of you who haven't yet discovered it, the 'What You're Saying is . . .' series hosted by Peter Whittle on the New Culture Forum are really top drawer interviews with some class acts. Well worth taking the time to listen to them as, IMO, they are very informative and thought provoking. Enjoy this example with the excellent Mr. Liddle . . .

On the BBC and Doctor Who: "I just want to see some Daleks kill someone", "just fuck off and stop giving us this constant drip of propaganda"

Good find 😄

The BBC just don't know when to give up. They continue with their propaganda even when Joe Bloggs "I've got more important things to get on with in life than crap politics" has got them rumbled. This, and other establishment deceit is a gift to the Brexit party.

Of course there is bias - after all, it’s the only rational position for right thinking people :D:D

I thought that Actor was a trifle full of himself addressing Caroline Lucas with a "look Woman!" speel.

Stuffy old man who has very fond memories of upbringing in colonial Africa. Fine breed he is? What a lovely Brexiteer of a man.
I wasn't overly keen on him either At', but whether or not he's a lovely man or a nasty one tells you precisely diddlysquat about the kind of people who voted leave. Plenty of peeps just like him voted remain. This leads me to my main observation about Caroline Lucas' attack on Farage, labelling him - amongst other things - a racist. The obvious inference that she wants everyone to conclude is that if you vote for the Brexit Party then, by implication, you are a racist too. As the vast majority of people aren't racists - subconsciously they'll be thinking 'oh, I better not vote for that lot 'cos I don't want my family and friends to think I'm racist'. This is grossly irresponsible behaviour and shame on Fiona Bruce for not challenging Lucas for saying it. Lucas may as well accuse the Labour MP (Ashworth?) of being anti-semitic merely on account of him being in the Labour party. It's beyond childish - it's pathetic. What's even more extraordinary is that people like her and Vince Cable clearly think that the general public are too stupid or ill informed to pick up on it and don't know the game they're playing. Increasingly, (and I'm a case in point) the penny is starting to drop and they understand very well what's going on. And, as c_v is fond of pointing out - the public have had enough and reached 'peak wank'; they won't let the politicians get away with it. The more Lucas et al come out with these outrageous comments - the more sympathy Brexiteers get. It's Lucas and her cohorts who are the real extremists and don't appear to realise that their wild and baseless accusations work against them and not for them. More fool them.
Tim.

Brexit is a big mess. It means so many different things to so many different people.

I'm glad to hear you are happy with developments and now better understand UK politics. (y)

‘You sow the wind you reap the whirlwind’, just watched QT, politicians stuck in a way of politics that neither answers questions nor respects the people asking those questions are about to lose their jobs, to be replaced with.....what the people actually want.

Protecting democracy, representing the people and protecting the country are the first principals of politicians that serve us.

Once they fail at those first principles they have a short window of opportunity to apologise and rectify, or they are out and replaced with people that we feel more comfortable paying our taxes for. That window has closed, they are now on the outside with no protection against the coming storm.

Claims of racism are just signs of hysterical desperation by people with no answers, they know they are about to be served a P45 and are trying to justify their own anti-democratic positions through desperate means.

what will the political media do when brexit is finally resolved ?......jees ...they have been centre stage now for many a month and ratings are soaring .........perhaps they just create a sitcom reality show on ITVbe ?

"Brexit innit" sounds as good a title as any other drivel we see there.....

There's always the Royals to fall back on.

You are running a big risk here politicising the appointment of civil servants effectively by political parties.

Local Council Chiefs and Police Commissioner

I don't understand this comment?

He needs schooling not locking up. (y)

I don't see the value in locking anyone up for many things that the govt seems hellbent on locking people up for! Just that TR is being oppressed by the UK administration with every attempt he makes at exposing crime, it wouldn't surprise me if they manage to lock him up just before EU elections (if they go ahead).

"If exposing a crime is a criminal act, then you are ruled by criminals" could easily be a buzzword applied to many whistleblowers and journalists of the day, not just Assange or TR either.

As far as schooling TR, what would be your proposal?

His a bit of a one trick pony to me but I don't know much about him.

I'd like him more if he championed all children causes rather then just those abused by few non-white ones. I feel there has been a big cover up of abuse by the church, government and quite a few institutions who were supposed to help children.

In fact it would be worthy to try and help all people irrespective of race creed or colour.

What other crimes is he calling out?

Theres a few:
He was raising funds for the Amelia Mae Foundation.
Goodwill Ambassador for the Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund.
Raising funds for a specialist wheelchair user Daisy (a 7 year old with Cerebral Palsy) and other military families.

What other crimes is he calling out?

Panodrama - exposing the corruption of the BBC Panorama program.
Nottingham Beechwood children's home whistleblower Melanie Shaw, institutional child abuse, now locked up by the state for blowing the whistle.
3 boys run over by a drunk driver with a sentence of 13 years, sentence too light so was highlighting the campaign for justice.
He also exposes the police forces that covered up the rape gang crimes being committed along with the collusion of social services and local councils (most of them Labour).

I'll let Ezra explain TR, Brexit, Brexit Party, Farage, TM, the state of the UK better than I can

" . . . This poisoned parliament has shown itself to be a moral and political sewer that urgently needs to be hosed clean with a strong jet of democracy . . ." Gotta love Pat Condell - the man is a fantastic wordsmith. This is his latest offering, enjoy . . .
