Why good traders get banned ?

I have seen on few occasions where a legit profitable trader trying to help non-profitable traders gets banned once he claims he could charge to teach.
Does one expect to learn what took years for an individual to learn, for free ?

That way profitable traders are prevented from helping non-profitable traders.
It made it harder for me to get my teachers.

So I am wondering where is the good in all this ?

Can somebody explain I do not understand.

Profitable traders and the way profitable traders trade , don't fit in with the forum crowd. They don't follow the crowds , and they don't do what the forum crowds do .

Read the vendor policy here http://www.trade2win.com/boards/faq.php?faq= faq_site_guidelines#faq_faq_vendor_policy . There is zero tolerance on people using th boards to advertise their services.

No harm in good traders who charge for their services contributing so long as they are not advertising. If they are they get banned.

Those advertising or trying to advertise for free are Vendors ,a site has to get income to cover costs and make a profit. There are traders who try to advertise for free , they get banned .They should get banned , as they are biting the hand .

There are traders like me who show occasional educational videos from Vendors ,the purpose is educational , it is like advertising , so there is no clarity as to what is and isn't allowed.

An example is this thread .It is very useful for traders .

Hi Tradersonflow,
Welcome to T2W,

Trade2Win's mission is to support and unite traders across the globe. We provide an environment that enables our members to converse with one another, share their knowledge and express their views. Furthermore, we seek to provide educational and thought provoking content to help better educate our members in their trading lives.

It is difficult - if not impossible - to fulfill this mission if vendors are using the site to sell trading related products and services. With the sole exception of the 'Trading FAQs' book, everything on T2W is provided completely free of charge. This is absolutely central to our ethos so that members know they can engage with one another, safe in the knowledge that someone isn't trying to sell them something. Hence, there is no commercial agenda - either from the site itself (i.e. staff and moderators) - or from other members. Anyone who wishes to charge for their services has endless opportunities to do so beyond the virtual walls of this forum on the internet and social media etc. Indeed, that is the norm and all the more reason to preserve T2W as a commercially free environment. Lastly, it's important to note that we welcome members who may happen to be vendors of trading related services, regardless of their experience or profitability, so long as they - along with everyone else - adhere to our Community Constitution. (You can tell who these people are by the Market Stall icon - such as the one you display in your profile.) If they do that, they/you can enjoy T2W forum life for many years to come without any fear of ever being banned.

It's simple, it's easy and it works - that's why this policy is in place.
Tim.

Hello Tim,

I understand your ethos and your will to preserve the site from bad vendors.
However to put in plainly, if a profitable trader as an edge he will want to share to help non profitable traders to be profitable. As if a rookie were trying hard with his bare hands and about obsolete tools to make a sand castle on the beach, with little knowledge on how to do so, resulting in ridiculously ugly ones, and nearby there is a dude watching, that has all the brand new molds [because he's made them], and knowledge to make a beautiful huge one, effortlessly, because he is been there 20 years before.

Each time out of compassion he wants to give his brand new mold to the struggling dude, there is a guy interfering that says 'no you cant handle him that'
What is the good purpose of preventing someone from learning something that he or she is trying to learn ?

As per the community constitution mentions, last week, a 'buddy' of mine sent you an email on the topic. No answers. Here is your world, so I am gonna make myself little, however I am still trying to figure out the intent of the people here and if reasonable [as you seem to be] people exist.

So you're saying you want to give away the tools with which anyone can become a successful trader? For free?
I'm sure nobody's stopping you dong that. Go ahead and post.

Apologies if I didn't make myself clear in my previous post - allow me to clarify. Anyone and everyone is able to register on T2W for free and share their ideas, knowledge and experience for free with the membership. This includes all vendors.

This is not true. No one will 'interfere' or prevent any member from sharing their ideas, knowledge and experience with other members. On the contrary, our team of Moderators are in place to ensure an environment exists that enables - not prevents - people from posting exactly as you describe. Indeed, that is the whole purpose of T2W - see the mission statement at the start of my previous post.

The only thing a vendor can not do is use T2W as a platform to promote his or her products and services. But that in no way prevents them from contributing and actively participating on the forums. Indeed, some of our longest standing and most highly regarded members are vendors of trading related products and services.

I have checked my Inbox for all of June and I have not received any e-mails that even vaguely relate to the topic of this thread. Therefore, I suspect your 'buddy' sent it to someone other than me. Although my talents are considerable and wide ranging, I'm afraid they don't extend to replying to e-mails I've never received.
;)

I am not saying about T2W , but the following is true about other forums. If a vendor is selling a product , he is willing to pay serious money to sponsor forums , like £35,000 a year , any member who posts conflicting threads against the interests of these forums get banned.
