joel parker - price action room

Funny thing is - I saw this pic ages ago and for some reason it stuck in my head.

So - I just typed in "Gay Lions" and there it was.

I didn't bother looking for gay leopards but I am sure they are out there.... 'out'... geddit????

More vendor lies! You searched for hours...:cheesy:

Actually Shak - have you seen what you get if you google Gay Leopard?

There's some cartoons on there that are definitely not for reposting here. I didn't even know that sort of thing existed...

The Rhino one is especially err.... disturbing

There are vendors and vendors and vendors.

Quite simply, what DT has is a software application which analyses data and presents it in an orderly fashion. Now if a customer sees value in the product, then what exactly is the problem here? I suspect it's the same old story, one of jealousy and the fact that the one's knocking the innovation didn't think of it for themselves.

Oh well, nevermind !

The issue here was one of disclosure. LM pointed out that DT recommends a vendor without disclosing that said vendor sells DT's products. I gently suggested that this fell somewhat short of the highest ethical standards. DT took objection, with what results you can see.

As for the motivation, you are wrong. Unlike all millionaire successful traders, it is not my ambition after years of success to become a vendor  - hard to believe if one has spent a long time around trading forums, but nonetheless true. But even if it were, the term would be envy, rather than jealousy :).

This is one view.

Another is you are have got your teeth into a tiny little bone and you don't want to let it go.

Enjoy the glory!

There is no bone, and no glory. Just a simple statement of fact that it appears, after much squealing about porn, you have now acknowledged.

Good grief, the more angry you get, the less sense you make.

There is no "bashing" - just the statement of simple facts, such as the fact that you recommend an "educator" and give lots of reasons for doing so whilst neglecting to mention that said "educator" sells your products.

Nothing was "bound to get to you" - you did something, and it was pointed out. That is all.

I have no "angst" - it is not a sign of "angst" to state the truth. As for trading, well you sell trading products and I don't .

Lordy - you really have me nailed don't you?

I find you very amusing. I love your attempt to join the crusade but it's quite the obsession with you. Of course, we know where your obsession ends, Paz. Just like last time, you'll bottle it up until you have to scream from the rooftops (well, post gay porn) and demand a ban.

You incessant vendor bashing was bound to get around to me. The thing is, I quite enjoy the fun.

Honest efforts? lol! EVERY post you make is a bash on a vendor, here!

In fact it's a bit creepy that when you click "Find all posts by Leopard" - http://www.trade2win.com/boards/members/402524-the-leopard.html

All you see are vendor bashing posts. It's as if you have nothing to say on the topic of trading at all. Did you get your fingers burnt by vendors?

As someone in the industry, I apologise for the way my peers took you for a ride. Now, move on, get over it because all that angst will work against you when you sit down for a trading session. If indeed, you ever actually get time to do that between bashing vendors.

he does have a point though doesn't he. Why do you associate yourself with these scam vendors? it damages your credibility.

Ach - him? He's just looking for trouble. As I said, I will change the site. At the same time, I will wind him up so I get some more porn...

Anyway - I only associate with Joel and I don't think he's a scam...

I do recommend FT71 and I don't think he's a scam either...

I should really put John Grady of No BS Day Trading on there too 'cause I don't think he's a scam...

As for Kam Dhadwar at L2ST- he seems quite legit too....

I actually went looking around to see if anyone was running a permanent room using the DOM to hook up with. My thoughts were that people will pick up the nuance a lot faster if they can see the walk being walked.

I found lots of people running rooms, I didn't find a single one that traded off the DOM that was legit. John Grady does it on treasuries every other month but he's in love with XTrader! I just need to get XTrader drunk one night and take some pics of it in a comprimising position and get John to see them....

What I did see...

- People opening a room with $500 profit already showing, trading 1 lot, getting out after 3 ticks (loss or profit), saying "that's it", we don't do many trades, we pick our spots... and showing a profit
- A guy trading large size with limit orders which, despite them showing on HIS DOM, didn't show up on a live one, nor did his 'fills'
- lots of people SIM trading giving "psych" reasons why they did that

What I didn't find was a single person that traded the DOM day in day out in a room that could actually show their trades were live. I did find someone who traded day in day out but not off the DOM.

Many said "we don't have audited results", I said "OK - I don't mind if they aren't audited". Then they went quiet.

The thing is - most people do need training with the tools. That's why I end up with a lot of ex-prop traders as customers. They see the benefit from the off. It's just that not many people are going to give trading off the DOM a go and get it on their own. It gets worse before it gets better. My personal opinion is that training needs follow up sessions.

There's plenty of traders out there. I have met a lot of traders through this software. They all seem to have the same opinion as me on training people - "fnck that"....

So - selling software is nice, trading is nice, training - well I haven't got the patience and to be honest, I want to trade when it suits me, not when I am committed to doing it.

Malkiel (Random walk down wall street), proved that the fastest and easiest way to make money is to sell information to traders.. it is sadly true.

however; trading is much more fulfilling; because of its challenges and rewards.

Funny that. I am shocked that you struggled to find legitimate live rooms. In fact, I find it scarcely credible. It seems more likely that you have been taken for a ride by live rooms, and are suffering "angst". You must put this aside - it will not be helpful in your vending activities.

I have noticed many posts of this nature made by you. On your site, you actually say that 99% of training is useless. Please stop this constant vendor bashing!

have you seen any proof that Joel Parker is profitable? His claim that 50% of his students are profitable doesn't pass the smell test.
