SW London pub meet

IMHO, this sort of meeting isn't about sharing information, it's purely social and about meeting like minded people.
The only public ones I've been to are t2w xmas parties and a t2w US day traders meal in Chinatown. The latter was great fun with Alan Rich and myself and some really capable US momentum traders Alan and I had already met and some other good people.
Did we exchange information? No, but we had a damn good time :)
Richard

Each to their own bud.

I thought I'd let others know where I stand on the issue. I wont be attending meetings for social only purposes, I would only ever attend if I could share and learn...including in that is the social aspect. I have friends to socialise with who firmly understand what I do and are equally successful in their careers but for their reason wish not to trade. We drink and have fun, thats why I have friends.

You sound like you could do with some more.lol:LOL: I will be your friend if you wish.:cheesy:

SN,

Thanks for the text, but think I will have to pass due to not meeting the requirements.

I understand the point re: not wanting to spend too much time with tire kickers, however tend to take the view that you cant be too prescriptive about these sort of things.

All the best

GW

THIS MEET IS ON!

Well, I can't guarantee what info will be exchanged and it looks like the weather is going to be good for a pub garden lunch so I will be there from 1pm. So if you want to come, then show up, we can talk about trading ideas, laugh at how we've made losses, discuss techniques and lament over Boris' "Ping Pong is coming home" speech.

I'll be the scruffy Chinese man in need of a haircut.
