London City Meetup III - 25th November

[Rugby Trader]

Hello everyone,

It's been a little while since the last meet-up so time for another one.

As usual it will take place on a Friday evening (25th Nov) at the Shooting Star by Liverpool Street station.

Please let me know if you can make it, so I know how many people to book for.

The Shooting Star is a nice pub with decent grub and has a good range of ales as well as all the usual.

The last 2 have been great fun and enlightening as everyone talks to each other about their successes, woes and difficulties in this tough trading world. It's good to talk to people face to face about it as well as I doubt very much you're talking in detail about it with your other half. Mine doesn't even pretend to show an interest, although I have to when she talks about shoes.

So please post below if you can make it along.

For anyone who has been to the meet-ups before. Who thinks Rugby Trader bears an uncanny resemblance to 'Spencer' on 'Made in Chelsea'? (sorry mate, it did make me laugh when I saw it)

Darren, I'm usually always up for a beer with the trader crew. However, the 25th is my daughters birthday so I may not be able to make it. Unless of course, she has a dozen of her screaming friends over, in which case, it would be a perfect excuse!

to be honest i get loads of 'you look just like comments' about a variety of different people.

When I was younger and weighed a lot less than i do now I used to get a lot of Steve McDonald comparisons. Then when I put weight on it became Will Carling. I also get Johnny Bravo occasionally.

Maybe we should pitch a reality TV show on the life of online traders to Channel 4 with Rugby Trader, Captain Currency, Trade Dante, Mark, Antonio etc as the faces of independent trading.

I'm going to make a video of the next one to post on YouTube so those that can't make it can see what they're missing.
