nailed + 130 points on dax, ftse and nasdaq shorts overnight

nailed + 80 on copper shorts

thats + 610 points for the week with subscribers

I remain long usd/cad ..........please see charts below for my reasoning and let me know how my trade goes?

now i have organised shorts on dax and ftse

target = 1000 -2000 point drop in the next few weeks

I expect a biblical drop , a sell off never seen before !!

good calls here.... i was long on USDCAD when it broke past 9850 and short on light crude from 8750... wouldnt have taken a look at them if i hadnt read yr posts... thx

Asian session flat overnight ......Hang Seng was down overnight

Political opposition to QE 3
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — The Congressional Republican leadership sent a letter this week to Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke urging him to refrain from any more easing moves, saying that the U.S. economy should be driven by consumer confidence and worker innovation and not by central bank policy.

I have explained in recent emails that QE 3 will not happen, the recent short covering rally is on hope of QE 3 , but they will be severely disappointed.

Risk FX

UUP on the verge of massive break out northwards as past 200 MA ....as no QE 3 = short queeze on US dollar.

Eur/usd @ resistance
aus/usd remains weak and stuck @ resistance

Oil remains weak after yesterdays sell off

Copper is exceptionally weak after yesterdays sell off

Daily chart = inside bar = bear flag formation and expected to hit the lower channel

Hi, this is my first post on this thread although I have been following it for a few weeks now and I think it has some great info for us newish traders. I have been trading for about a year now so still have loads to learn.
This morning I had made a decision to short the Ftse at 5365 so I was happy to see your post confirming that I am doing something right!! took 35 pips off it cheers Chris

NO QE 3 and look what happens

I'm having difficulty seeing how the Twist isn't being considered a QE3. While the headline is 'no new money being pumped into the economy', how does the sale of short-term and the purchase of long-term NOT qualify as QE when they themselves are issuing the short-term in the first place?
