Trump Presidency and the Consequences

WASHINGTON—In the wake of Paul Manafort’s conviction and Michael Cohen’s guilty plea, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) told reporters Thursday that the mounting allegations against President Trump are not yet serious enough to make the scales fall from the eyes of Republicans and allow them to behold the sheer shrieking madness they have begotten. “Simply put, there is at present insufficient evidence against the Trump administration to justify the tearing of blindfolds from Republican eyes at this point, and therefore, we remain safe from gazing in horror at the maelstrom of sheer insanity that we ourselves have loosed upon the world,” said Hatch, claiming it would be woefully premature for Congress to commit themselves to any course of action in which they might glimpse the unveiled face of the ravening madness vomited into existence by them and them alone. “Perhaps six months from now, as even more damning details of the president’s action are divulged, we can more confidently open our eyes to the corrosive reality we unleashed when we damned ourselves by giving birth to this repellent idiot abomination, suckling it on the putrescence of our own squalid ambition, weaning it with pain and hatred in our foul nest of all-consuming mania to slaver forever in the fetid darkness, untouched by mercy or hope. But until then, the GOP will take the wait-and-see approach.” At press time, Hatch declined to support measures to ensure the preservation of the republic should Congress stare into the abyss of their own blasphemous hypocrisy and, in so doing, be consumed by it.

Strong words.

Some might argue that being the nice country over the decades hasn't really worked and the US needs a sob someone to tell it how it is rather than the rose tinted verson.

Now the Dems have lost the narrative on Russian collusion, they are doubling down the rhetoric now going to focus on hush payments, fair enough, but it doesn't look like it will be enough for impeachment which has been their goal all along.

Until the Dems find a new bogeyman to unseat him, I reckon Trump is safe until he can no longer be elected because of constitutional rules, certainly his voters don't care about hush money claims, just as they didn't care when Clinton was blowing his wad

You need to only watch the first 2.5 minutes.

Any 5 of the following 9:
Grandiosity
Fantasies of great wealth and power (he's a billionaire (apparently))
Special or unique (he is a genius, after all)
Requires excessive admiration (hows the military parade going? is that still on?)
Sense of entitlement
Interpersonally exploitive
Lacks empathy
Envious of others
Arrogance

How far will the UK/UK/France/EU go to stop Russia and Assad from 'liberating' Idlib? How far will they go to reduce the exposure of Western supplied arms cache's and terrorists? Just as they did with the removal of the White Helmets from the whole region, what is left to implicate the West's corrupt Syrian policies?

You betcha! :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

(CNN)President Donald Trump's touting of how his administration has accomplished more than any -- yes, any -- past administration in its first two years is one of his most consistent applause lines in his campaign patter.

"I don't believe there has been any administration in the history of this country that has done more in two years -- and we're not even up to two years yet -- than our administration," Trump said last week during a campaign speech in Las Vegas -- while reading a literal paper list of those accomplishments.
"Nobody has done what this administration has done in terms of getting things passed and getting things through," he told a group of sheriffs earlier this month.

Well waddaya know?

Trump is a trader and was waiting for market correction. Top geezer :)

Trump says 800-point market drop is 'a correction that we've been waiting for'

Later on Wednesday in an interview on Fox News, Trump dismissed the idea that trade tensions with China caused the dive.
"I don't think it's that at all," he said. "The trade war with China, we're taking in billions of dollars in tariffs from China, from Chinese goods, and it hasn't hurt us at all. ... No, that wasn't it. The problem I have is with the Fed. The Fed is going wild. I mean, I don't know what their problem is but they're raising interest rates and it's ridiculous."

Or his WINNING!

All you haters may not want to believe it, but he has done a lot for this country, including getting back American citizens from several countries without giving anything in return such as Obama giving $150 billion in CASH to a terrorist country. We are going to see a red wave in november and Trump's relection in 2020!

Peter

Right now Trump will get re-elected as the economy's strong, he has no obvious opponent with wide support and he has not had to abandon or reverse any of his supporters' favourite policies.

Some of his policies are still only half-way implemented, like travel restrictions, the repeal of public healthcare, immigration control etc. but amongst his supporters his credibility's still good on these.

Clearly, Democratic voters are not going to start voting for him even if he abandons all of these policies so its going to be down to how motivated are his own supporters at the time. They seem to be still there behind him.
