Your spec says the 64 is not removeable and that your max for your mobo is 192 so be careful not to waste your money.
have you run Everest to check your setup? Just because you can bung the RAM in doesn't mean it will work.

few other things:
1) clear the browser history and cache - that can make a huge difference for net related stuff

2) change XP performance settings to get rid of the cute animation that has no purpose at all:
* right click on My Computer
* Select Properties
* Click on ADVANCED tab
* Click on SETTINGS in the Perofrmance section (first settings button)
* Click on "Adjust for best perofrmance" and click OK

3) As others already mentioned, DEFINITELY run something to detect spyware. That can make a huge difference

I have started to reformat my machine. Could be completed today and then I will go to Everest and also remove animation. I have done a backup of my files but I wonder is this reformatting going to serve any purpose . Comments welcome. Thanks again

I think you should go back to Win2Kpro.
XP will take up too much memory.
