Simple strategy with 3 indicators: +25% Profit last week on USD/CHF

FTT59 do you ever call your trades in real time or are they always 'here's one I did earlier'? While retrospective analysis (typically of stunningly successful trades) is an ideal educational instrument and as a hook for the unwary and gullible, they don't really convince.

How about doing the next one in real-time so we can get a better picture of your system and abilities?

Thanks for your post

Its difficult to record live my trades, its H1 and a trade can last few days,

In my blog , i do each week a D1 analysis and i give directions for the H1 trades for the start of the week

But this is not important, live or not, the most important is to learn the strategy, the indicators,to spot the setups, signals/live trading would not help you

Most of people/traders are losers because they dont want to learn, they are not patient, want a magic formula and they have no discipline,
They are bitter, sceptical, (the "its easy, its a past trade, you cherry pick trade" guys)...they dont want to learn.

As for my abilities, i am a chaos trader, i have lost money but i kept learning and now i m in the winning side, i have a strategy based on Bill Williams , chaos trading method, this is a successful strategy.

When i have started to trade, i knew nothing about trading, i went to forums, and i have been attracted by those words: chaos theory applied to trading.
I found threads and read every single post, there were many traders , guys explaining their trades, I DID NOT CARE whether there was live or not, i wanted to learn, i read B W books and watched his theory, i found a group of guys who were trading it and i have learnt from them.

I would probably not make live record but what i can do is discuss the setups with you, no problem, you can contact me from my blog

Cheers

You don't need to 'record' it. Simply state what you're doing at the time, as you do it. I disagree on the importance of live trading. You're putting yourself in line of being accused of cherry-picking a theoretically good trade. With live calls you get a feel for the reality of the trader. Even a decent trader has a Gaussian curve for profitability with no outliers at the loss end and hopefully a few out on the positive end. Life is not a bowl of cherries.

I call live my trades in the trading chatroom with people i trade with...

I share here a strategy,

I make reviews of the week video (again its not live) but know also where are my losses

Trading is about discipline, and an experimented trader, who lives in the here and now, should act the same live or demo, the questions are only, is it a setup yes or no. The key is to be able to control your emotions, you need a mental training, talk, record and share those trades are part of my training

Cheers

But not here. Why is that? Is there any commercial side to your activities not directly related to trading? Are you selling systems or indicators or using a system or indicator that you have purchased regardless of whether you're associated with that product or not? Or could anyone use all of the techniques and indicators you discuss in your retrospectives totally for free?

the indicators i used have been made for one of my friends who does have a business (aims trading), so yes i can share his strategy a bit (as its basically from BW) and specially the way i trade it but i cant give the indicators for free, the ewave is an awesome indicator and its very cheap like (£15) maid by forex-exe, a friend too, the alligator , you have it on the mT4, and the fractal box is called aims box and is part of the method mentioned above, however the fractals are on MT4 . Again, i can always discuss any setup with anyone,
Please note that i dont have any interest in my friend's business

Hello All
I have made the decision to stop to post on this thread, i will keep posting my trades on my blog, give direction of trades and sometime give signals so as doing d1 analysis,

Thanks for reading

Happy trading and so long

Eh...I've got my doubts. With all due respect, and not to sound like a snob, but I post charts with wins and losses in my journal. And I don't type the pips I supposedly made on the chart after the fact. Those who trade with fxcm know that your pnl pops up on your chart when you close your trades. Anyone can look at a chart after the fact and say where they got in and where they got out but show us something that proves you were actually in these trades.

Funny, I didn't even realise he'd stopped posting
After the first few its quite interesting but soon became boring. Anyone could post "chart of the week" in hindsight and say oooh look at my strategy.
Flavour of the day though hindsight journals

Hello
GREAT +4.5 trade on EUR/JPY H1 (18-19 May 2020°

On D1, we are into the W4, on the H4, we have a sleeping alligator BUT the ewave is about to cross the zero line. We choose to put our pending order above the H4 box with the initial SL (below the H1 box). The price triggers on order at New York Open and flies, we exit the next day as the price breaks the lower level of the fractal box for a profit of +160 pips (+4.5%). A great one. So guys, did you take that trade last week or/and maybe a more profitable one? My strategy is based on the Science of Chaos, Elliott waves and fractal geometry applied to trading.

cheers

What is a VALID ENTRY SETUP?

In this video, i talk about the entry setup and especially its validity. Its a crucial aspect in trading as we need to filter all the entry signals. Thanks to Immy from AIMS Trading, Steve from For-exe and Grant as my strategy is the same one that i have learned from them quite a long time ago. My strategy is based on the Science of Chaos, Elliott waves and fractal geometry applied to trading.

hello
Great Tuesday last week, here is below an example:
Nothing great on D1, on H4, the price is reversing, this is the "c" move of the wave 4 who can always become a wave 3 in the opposite direction and the Ewave is about to cross the zero line. On H1, we have a setup 1 during the pacific session, and we have a setup 2 at Francfort Open. For both setups, there is no immediate left levels. We exit during the night as the price breaks the lower level of the fractal box for a total of 9% Profit (for both entries) and +5% Profit for the FO setup. WOW!
The video:

Did you catch anaything last tuesday?
Cheers

Hello
This is the USD/CHF H1 Trade of the Week. On D1, the setup is below the box, this is the start of an impulsive wave. On H4, we have a pullback after a wave 3 with a sleeping alligator, this is a double level H1-H4. On H1, we have a nice sleeping alligator inside the box, we put our PO below the double level with a initial SL at 18 pips, the price triggers the PO but retraces, forming a second level, we have a second entry below that new lower level as the alligator starts to open. The price triggers our addon and then after few candles, the price drops. We exit the next morning as the price breaks the upper level of the fractal box for 2 X 2% profit, with a total of +4% profit. Did you take that one? If yes, where did you enter? Did you addon? Did you take another profitable trade?
The video of the trade:

Cheers

Hello,
Today a trading psychology video. The most important in Trading is the mental aspect of the "game" and the ability to remain composed and free of negative emotions, focus, disciplined and patient. All the qualities that the snipers have. As a former marine (french Troupes de Marine), i share with you some Royal Marine Commando adverts and movie clip.
Enjoy
