The question is, can you develop your own approach, or are you better off paying 5 grand to the likes of Old Booby, World Employee Punching Champion 2012?*

I maintain that one would be a fool to miss out on the opportunity to learn from the world's foremost expert on gullible reptile behaviour.

Is a newbie likely to lose 5k or more going at it alone by himself ? The answer is extremely likely. Since the money is lost anyway, it is probably better to exchange that for some basic stuff from those people who can't trade but at least know the very basics.

Is a newbie likely to lose 5k or more going at it alone by himself ? The answer is extremely likely. Since the money is lost anyway, it is probably better to exchange that for some basic stuff from those people who can't trade but at least know the very basics.

The difference is:

A newbie might well learn something useful from trading and losing 5 balloons in the market or with a bucket shop.

If he takes a course from an "educator" like Saghbuggery, he may well have his head filled with garbage that will take a long time to unlearn.

So spunking 5 g-sheets with Mr Turtle Head Soup is not only a waste, it's actively harmful.

Newbs are usually in a hurry. We are looking at £50 a point. 5k goes in a flash. 500k would be slightly easier.

Then I suggest you start a course and charge 5k each. There will be tons of demand for it, while some would make thread and decry what a scam it is. I am shocked people here are blind to the principle of demand and supply.

Personally, I think if people want hair raising action, they should play forex in the 1 minute time frame.

no thanks I will never do myself the disservice of being a vendor much the same as I don't fancy pimping or selling watches from motorway service stations. nothing wrong with using the 1 min t/f, using it in isolation would be foolhardy in the extreme but using it in the context of the daily, hourly, 15m, 5m chart is fine. I prefer no to go below 5m chart as the 1min is a little schizoid.

It is your choice to be a go-getter, or be someone who watches and complain. I reckon neither position is wrong. The go-getter is merely responding to a demand. There are lot's of people with 5k waiting and don't know what to do with it. You merely need to go ask them for it and they are willing to give it to you.

As for the benefit of a 5k course. Those who have done it will know if it's good or bad. Either way they would have learned something. Learning is always a good thing.

I once bought a service station pimping watch. I thought it was very nice and looked the part. It ran great until I chucked it 4 years later when the battery ran out and the chrome plating beginning to come off the copper. The watch pimp merely asked for my money and I willingly gave it to him. Was he wrong to ask ? Didn't feel like it to me.

Perhaps you are just a too big a BSD for 5k to have an effect. For regular joes, 5k teaches them a great deal.
