If anyone has a suggestion for the front page poll, then please add it to this thread. The current poll has been live a number of weeks, and it would be great to get a new poll going - it's just our creative juices have run dry and we've drawn a blank - so any help would be appreciated. Ideally it would be something different to the polls we've had in the past - and there have been quite a few, so most of the obvious questions have already been asked!

already done on the FX thread, but I thought asking people which area helped them to improve their trading the most in the last year:

better strategy
better money management
better training/mentoring
changed timeframes

Do you save these polls and results? If so, can we click somewhere and have a look at all the previous polls and results?

Can we have a poll asking: how long have you been a trader?

1. < 1 year
2. 1-3 years
3. 3-5 years
4. 5-10 years
5. > 10 years

I realise this may have been asked before, but not recently (?) Times change and it would be interesting to see how long people are able to "stick at it"!

I am keen to know people's preferences with regard to spread betting companies. It would be great if we could have a poll allowing individuals who spread bet to pick their favourite/least despised provider.

How about creating a new section a T2W Hall of Fame where members vote for the most useful tips and ideas that they have found may have changed the way they trade or improved the way they trade.There's loads of ideas covering all methods or styles of trading but how many are getting lost in the threads of time.It would be handy for people starting out trading and for others who may be looking for other ideas if these could be compacted into one area.

How about creating a new section a T2W Hall of Fame where members vote for the most useful tips and ideas that they have found may have changed the way they trade or improved the way they trade.There's loads of ideas covering all methods or styles of trading but how many are getting lost in the threads of time.It would be handy for people starting out trading and for others who may be looking for other ideas if these could be compacted into one area.

Actually we already have the Favourite Trading Tips thread here: http://www.trade2win.com/boards/gen...-reference-real-trading-profit-tips-work.html - is that sort of thing you had in mind. If you want members to vote we'd need to create a poll, but then we need to decide beforehand what options to let people vote on, but it sounds like you want members to suggest options to vote as well as vote - which you can't do currently with polls.
