steve do a search of t2w for Goldline Systems.

Goldline trading system

Hi Steve,
I used this system for about 8-10 months. Fortunately, I didnt pay 5k for it, but they did some deal at 2K. You then pay more only if u have doubled your money after 6 months. Then the same again after a further 6 months.
It was a crazy mistake and thoruoughy advise against buying the system. My bank was almost halved in the time I used it and I personally think the system is a waste of money.

There is a fatal flaw inthat as your bank goes down, you still risk 5 % of your original bank(ie this can be considerably more than 5% of your remaining bank). Also, if your account grows above 20K, as there's allegedly has, the risk is limited to 5% of 20k.

I know this may sound a bit confusing, but the point I'm making is that someone with a small bank can loose a lot more than if u had a big bank, in terms of percentages.

I would stay well away. In my opinion, it doesn't work.

GOLDLINE ----- STUDY THEIR TRADES !!!

and you'll see its using 20 ema for entry.

I'll give you a great system for NOTHING.

SETUP : BUY - CLOSE ABOVE 20 EMA WITH A SLOW STOCHASTIC ABOVE 20.

EXITS : STOP LOSS 20 TICKS EXIT 40 TICKS AND MORE

ENTER DURING LAST HOUR AND EXIT DURING FIRST HOUR.

THAT'S IT

Easy Money Making Market - FTSE/DAX

The 20 ema system really ROCKED THIS YEAR. On the ftse their was ONE loss in august 2005.

Their were 4 TRADES SINCE JULY (ignoring the 7th when we all got stopped out)
One loser for 20 points and THREE winners for over 100 points each.

LOSS 20 POINTS
PROFIT OVER 300 POINTS

20 EMA IS A GREAT STRATEGY :cheesy:

SEE ATTACHED GRAPH :D

Yes, the 20 EMA is a great strategy for making money until it stops working then you'll wish you never heard of it.

All systems and methods (even the most crazy ones) will have times when they can do no wrong and the money keeps flowing in. But it's how they perform over a multi-year period that is the critical point. Goldline or a 20 EMA may make you a fortune in 2006 but lose you a fortune over the next 3 years.

Is it worth £5000? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA, that's the best joke I've heard so far in 2006

Has anyone managed to unsubscribe from all the junk email that Goldline keep sending. In the end I've had to set my browser to reject any email from them because they just ignore requests to unsubscribe.

Did anyone win the free laptop they where offering?????????
Do people really pay £5K for a Dongle and some software??????????????????????

there was a recent article on bbc.co.uk in the business section, where a businessman successfully sued a marketing company for failing to respond to his request to stop spamming him with unwanted emails.
compensation was minor, but the point was made.
worth a try :D

So they run a email list with no way of unsubscribing.

That tells you all you need to know about the company............

Thanks Trendie, might be worth trying.

I looked at Goldline a while ago when I was going through a bad patch and lost confidence in my ability to trade but when I analysed the track record they post on their website I realised they were no better than I was.

Seem to recall there was a previous thread about Goldline on T2W and most of the comments then were negative.

i was offered the software for £4995
also a laptop worth £500
The deal was £1995 including laptop NOW followed in 6 months by further payment of £2000 and then another £2000 six months later.
I was told that if I didnt pay fully that the live feed or lastest information would not be supplied to me, which is fair if thats the deal you enter into.
On that note I offered goldline £995 including the laptop and £1000 every six months with one exception that being that if i made the huge profits in a shorter time then of course i would pay goldline out of them.
Goldline would be aware of my profits so i could not defaulf on this deal OR they could terminate my information.
They rejected this offer and i left happy in the knowledge that i had done the right thing.

Just for info, Goldline are mailing out a brochure for a system called Intelli-Trend 250, spread betting FTSE 250. In their covering letter they claim it's nothing to do with them, they just like it!!!! The system is being sold by Digidata Systems PLC.

It is spookily similar to Goldline; price is the same, on going data feed subscription, only 15 minutes a day etc etc.

Just has to be some connection
