Well, I'm glad I didn't try BAT's system if it's not designed for 'real money' LOL!

Since this nonsense started I'm 250 pts up with 20 quid a pip. Me trusty Stoch, good old Mr Fibonacci and a few choice MACDs did the job. Goodnight all!

Forgive me for being facetious....couldn't resist it.

You may well have a point. Many soothsayers and doom-mongers are singing along with your prognosis. The surge in Gold is a little concerning though remember a lot of that is paper gold so to speak. If the DOW is about to crash I hope it has the decency to reach a significant number first. Then there's the PPT to consider, Bin laden, the Second Coming, the World Cup and the next series of Big Brother. It's all a question of timing really. That's what makes a Perfect Storm.

..thanks for the mail telling me i have no idea how that stock market works bid a tool.....no where in my posts did i say that the market would not continue down monday mate...i just questioned your timing on calling longs to exit then a swift upside move immediately occurred.....so quite frankly it is obvious that it is you that has no idea about timing exits mate and not know that a rally to close was on which longs could have taken advantage off....you have proved that it is you that cannot read the market...your calls have shown that....which you have wriggled out of at every turn...now if you would like to explain how telling longs to exit when another 50 points was up for grabs just around the corner....with you knowledge why didn't you wait for this transparent rally then tell them to exit after?

I don't think it is worth taking this thread too seriously. At 3:29pm yesterday, Bid was saying that the Dow is likely to push higher in the short term and by 8:03pm he was advising to get out of longs, as the fall was starting. Isn't it just worth watching for the entertainment? I think anyone who doesn't do their own work and blindly follows another persons calls is probably going to loose their money but if they can't work that out for themselves, they shouldn't be trading anyway.

...i take it everyone else has just been mailed the opportunity to buy BATs system.....oh dear....so transparent.....i wish the way the board was run was the same..... this board has turned into e-bay....people touting for business for rooms,seminars and systems......now ive had a lot of mails on this topic from others saying this is immensely annoying....specifically the games which have to go on .....leading to the highly predictable sales attack.....now i have no problem with selling anything....anyone can buy and sell what they desire ....bit of self responsibility doesn't go a miss...the main ingredient missing from progress in any walk of life.....trading too...so why not stop the games and just have a forum for coaches offering services and vendors selling systems....as usual the simple is made complex...leaving behind the scenes speculation and conspiracy theories abound as to the true nature of the relationships between sellers and the forum owners.

Its just not that black and white though is it.... There are plenty of contributors who'd fit in to those categories but aren't willing to admit thats there purpose... if only everything was as simple and obvious... It'd be no fun then mind!
