what is the difference between TRADESTATION 2000i and Tadestation 8

saw these 2 products

- also, if i do not have a data feed, but i have MLDownloader (imports yahoo data into ASCII or Metastock format), will i be able to chart stuff on tradestation?

- does tradestation provide fundamental analysis like ratios, percentage,etc

- can i use tradestation 2000i or tradestation 8 offline?

Sounds like you want 2000i unless you want to pay monthly fee for your data from Tradestation.

TradeStation 8 doesn't accept 3rd party "real-time" data. Those guys at TradeStation did this on purpose, so that you have to trade with them
