I highlighted this USD/JPY trae to everyone yesterday

It has given 40 pips so far and i expect to get another 100- 200 pips out of this

I am bearish on the market from the open today and this is one of the factors why

At the current levels

I am bearish on indices US and European and currencies euro/cable

I am also bearish on oil ............downside target of $72.5 and 72.1



after looking at my variables i expect a fall ...........but how prolific will the fall be?

but once we get the fall i certainly will be a buyer

I am short oil from last night 73.01 ..stop loss 73.31

target $72.5, $72.1

I am also contemplating a short on EURO once i have amended my oil position break even

Morning WS I hope you are well. I just cannot get comfortable being short at the moment except on a very short time frame. I would love to see these markets have a correction which I think is greatly overdue. Have a good day.

I dont know. I am just not trading today. Light volumes, no directions and most importantly, no trades setting up. I analysed USD/JPY and GBP/JPY, but was not sure because of today's lack of volume and all so didnt put any orders. But, as it goes, Opportunity Loss is Better Than Capital Loss.

That has to be the best post i read yesterday

we don't have to trade , i remember trader Dante say that we must only trade when the set up is perfect

preservation of capital is more important

I did not trade indices all morning either, the set up for long was right but light volume kept me away

just nailed 40 pips on shorting Cable ......

still waiting for a short on EURO......

but it looks like I will not get it so i may have to get in early

Thanks MR.G. How is the FTSE daily swing trading going btw?

I'll still be hanging around this thread for the same reasons as you.

On a side note I am not sure how WS holds all that intermarket info inside one brain, but hats to you WS for being able to understand these markets so well!

I am looking at auto FX system trades through MT4. The system I am looking at now is quite interesting, but I won't post any info until I know it's sensible. I am not coding anything, but I will learn MT4 language if I think I can do something useful with it. The system I am trying has been coded for free by a very kind soul 🙂

market makers knocking out stop before it really falls...maybe

i will get back in when its under $73 now

USD/JPY still resuming its uptrend again

I will keep buying on dips ......closed for another 22 pips

closed for 23 points .................. 2/3 taken off and left 1/3 position break even

euro isn't falling as expected and nor is USD/jpy rallying as expected and german dax hit support


total profit this morning = 53 points

and its only 8.53 am ............

the real games begin with US session chaps
