i am long ftse 4889 ...stop loss 4869

target 4909

closed break even , I don't want to be vulnerable to a pulsating asian session

I will get a better long entry in the morning, could have taken 9 points profit but resisted and amended to break even

Nikkei fails to hold above 10, 600 ....bearish sign for equities

shanghai - look at chart I posted last night......and then chart of this morning...we are in a constriction zone and its getting tighter and tighter

1. euro forming double top @ 1.64250 .............short is on the cards to 1.64210 or even below to 1.641

2. oil back down to $71 overnight which is triple bottom......TA says buy double bottomo but be cautious/sell triple bottom or top

3. Nasdaq failure to get above 1640-1650 regions

I was bullish last night on FTSE indices but now I am not

this is my only conern on the FTSE and we could get a powerful fall today down to ????

why ?

strategy for today

> 4895 and we get confirmation ....bullish and we trade back to 4925 and above

< 4895 ....carry on following downward trendline......bearish ....

1st target on downside would be gap fill 4855 .......then we get a bounce

2nd target pink trendline , pivot S2 and 50 MA @ 4830

3rd target 4800

s you reckon today is a downtrend day? I noticed how FTSE is struggling to maintain its levels on PDC. Hangseng fell quite a bit as well yesterday as you said.

I like powerful downs when I am not long. Everyone says notice the trend direction by seeing higher highs and lower lows. For how long do you do that after the market open to establish that? By end of day, its easy to say. Mid day? first 2 hours, etc?

Will be helpful to see how you professionals do it.

Euro ....we are trading back with in horizontal channel
