hi

can anyone help with this question:

I am running avg virus software on one machine and avast4 on another. on both when running virus checks some files were 'unable to be repaired' and placed in the respective virus vaults' 'for healing.' are these just copies of the original files and therefore safe to delete or will it harm my machine (s) if I delete these files?

very much appreciate any help/advice
thanks
best

Just check to see what files they are and make a note if they look like they belong to a certain application.

Usually means those files cant be used but they are usually not needed as they are normally specific to the virus ie. the exe file that it has spread around
