Paid Moderators

In view of the problems on T2W may I offer a suggestion to help improve the site quality?

Moderators offer their time free and at times this must be considerable and detrimental to their trading if they are also full time traders.
It is hard to expect them to give this time and neglect their own lives and finances.
I think they do a fantastic job within the confines of these limitations.

So I suggest they actually get paid for this job.

What do the members think of this idea?

I don't know if Sharkey is considering this, but frugi's departure and the lack of posts from one other mod in the last couple of weeks should lend weight to this idea's serious consideration.

The overall deterioration in t2w is surely something worth reversing.

I I also think the paid moderator should simply be called, "Admin" and should not post under that name to other threads - depersonalise the moderation function.

Hmm, This is not straight forward in my view as questions would need to be answered such as who pays them and how much and should we pay to subscribe to T2W etc ?

Forget it.
If he wasn't deleting posts all the time and endlessly poking his beak in, then he would think he had nothing to do.
Bad as unpaid moderators may currently be rated, if they are trading or trying to trade they have some rationale to moderate other traders.
