Dunno.

I think the basic idea behind it was that they were allowing top scientists access to the technology to verify that it was genuine for all this time. Don't know what the outcome of all of that was.

Of course they do - it's patently obvious that the whole thing is a Rothschild-One-World-Government conspiracy to subvert the population and that an over-unity engine will free the masses and the demagoguic powers that be will be overhtrown and we will live in a utopian society where freedom and plenty for all exists and ..........

but then again global warming is a conspiracy by the One-World-Government too ...........
