is scalping still profitable today?

I watched a lot of live scalping videos over the years mainly on youtube, once in a while I revisit some of these videos for info, just to see comments from the trader claiming that they are no longer scalping because it is now impossible with HFT.

I'm still working on my scalping and this type of news is discouraging when I see a once profitable scalpers leave the scene and claim impossibility.

What are you thoughts on the scalping and HFT, is it impossible to be consistent with these super computers all around us?

Williams Accumulation/Distribution bullish/bearish divergence with a price greater than 50 sma has been profitable for me. Market in out is the place I do my screening for this.
