Nowfind.net

Hi,

This is a post completely unrelated to trading, but I would appreciate some help because it IS actually stopping me from trading.

Somehow my computer seems to have self-installed some sort of default web search facility called nowfind.net

Whenever I open Internet Explorer, no matter what web address I enter into the address bar, it takes me to a search on nowfind.net. Also, I often get pop-up advertising windows just popping up out of nowhere.

I can't for the life of me find where to uninstall it.


I would be most grateful for anyone's help.

A quick google says its just a homepage hijacker / usual spyware rubbish.

Have you tried AdAware/Spybot S&D etc to kill it off?

Yes you have been hijacked. If those don't kill it go to PcPitstop and they will clean you up
Install WinPatrol and Spybot Teatimer to protect your home page.
