taken +34 on dow
Lets wait for this to stableise before jumping in again...

Hope you dont me butting in,trying to find a road back into trading after taking some losses a couple of years ago.

Tom Tom can i ask if you set yourself targets on your trades?

I occasionly post my trades live on here for all to see.

I get in fast and large take minimal risk get the $$££ and close...

Today with fees taken 26.5K footsie and 22K dow = 46.5K profit.

This market will go higher now, wait for a breather for it to stablise then get in again, but my work for today is done.

Hi Taff.
Its all about levels and risk then direction.

If a trader were to start with 5k and take 7 big risks per year and each of thouse were to pay of after taking out living expense's 30k over the year the account would be at around 50K ....

If the trader was lucky enough to repeat this the following year he would become a large stake player.

I would rarther be lucky than skillfull any day M8

Hear what you sayig Tom Tom, the market got the better of me couple of years ago, made loads of mistakes. Started off ok, thought I could do this and guess what..got burned.

So im kind of starting the learning curve again.

Wallstreet you still short thouse SPX M8 ?
Did not do anything after exiting them longs, wow the market did jump didnt it ?
Could have afforded to have two pints tonight if I had left it open LOL
Knowing my luck if I had of left ot open the market would of declined....

Still better to win a bit than loose a bit eh ?
 
Surprised not more people went long after the 100% retracement of the breakout. Well played tomtom, hats off to you.

yes I have added to short @ 795 ...................so i average around 791ish @ present

my stop loss is 830!!

I will keep adding on any bounce and exit at 760

Am short FTSE @ 4020 as well with a target of 4000
