IB logon problem

Hi, I am experiencing IB logon problems, if you find yourself in a similar situation
don't go changing any settings, the fault lies as far as I can tell with IB...........good Luck

Yes I am also having problems the platform is unusable at the moment even when logged on.

From the IB system status page:

Some customes may experience connectivity issues, please disable the "SSL" feature. This will enable you to connect while the issue is being resolved. All other IB systems are operating normally.

No disconnects for me since I unchecked the ssl box on the login.

Iv'e sent a few emails, they have posted a message saying there's an problems under the TWS
help section so there's not much we can do until they resolve the issue ! Regards

I'm logged on ok, but the "book trader" function seems inoperable! Don't know if it's taking orders in the normal window.

Riddle, I too unchecked the SSL, but still experiencing logon/ log off problems, plus the platform is unstable, only to glad I didn't have an open position !.......................Good Luck
