I want golfing lessons

Crikey Chaps,
Thought I would get some formal golf lessons before I joined a club.

Approached a local ( Tehidy) Golf Club who wanted me to fill in a form, get references, THEN go along for an interview - just to knock a white ball around.

Interview - I want to play golf, not get a job !!

Tuition = £20 per half hour.

So the search continues for a golf club to accept an over fifty, socialist, golfing novice.

I dont see how you can be a socialist and a trader. A trader seeks to take from the many to benefit oneself and a socialist seeks to take from the few and distribute to the many.

Therefore the two are mutually incompatible so please explain how this is reconciled ? Unless you are a Gemini of course ?

Yep, joining golf courses is like going for a job interview, but it is worth it 😎
£20 an hour is about average these days. I have to say though, Tehidy golf club is superb, (one of the best I've played), so there maybe cheaper deals around.

Thats what they tell you. Socialists, or any other group, will exploit the masses for their own ends. I am no different - except I do not exploit individuals in daily life.

Confused - well, sorry, thats how I am. My own brand of socialism therefore I have no need to justify myself to others, never will. 😀

teed off on a local course yesterday ( good slice) and spent ages looking for a white ball among millions of seagull feathers ( No- I didn't hit a seagull. They walk around shedding feathers with the intention of making life difficult for me - so it seems at times)

Also, I am nervous about teeing off in front of one club house that is close to the first tee. Everyone is watching you, and I am guaranteed to fluff the shot.
