[HOWTOINVEST] Investing Darwins: pitfalls, guidelines and expectations

That is because you believed what CEO of the company was saying everywhere:that they are Exchange, that everbody's interests were aligned, that there are no conflicts of interest as at other 'evil' brokers-signal providing platforms...The fact is these guys are after fees and commissions just like everybody else.
Customers complaining about losing money( investors) and earning nothing or very little(traders) was the demise of old forum.Which is sad, because it was archive of accumulated experience and good ideas that would in the end provide a sound footing for people making money consistently. The company lost patience and new customers will be like ducks flying into thick fog.
Stay tuned. This thread will continue. It will be good school for everybody and hopefully help people avoid repeating mistakes that were made in prior years.
Hmmm.. In that case, it's only a matter of time before they discover this forum and "do something" about it too.

They are not angels but neither demons...
The closure of the community was a very wrong decision, and many of them know it.
It has been an emotional reaction from the boss and it will backfire.

It seems that most of Darwinians crashed after interviewed.
Can we consider it as negative/bad as MQL4 signals?

They call it survivirship bias.
They pick the luckiest of the past, those with an attractive trackrecord and above average results, they revert to the mean after the interview.
Being educated and honest doesn't prevent you to be lucky.

An important change has been the introduction of the management fee.
While commissions are priced on darwins quote, the management fee isn't and so it increases the difference between the darwin and the backtest.
Now we have more difference between what you see and what you get.
Lower transparency, higher profits for the company.

I don't know, only company has true data on influence between new regime where darwins are supposed to trade with whole-sale conditions while trader is trading with retail conditions and company is compensated with new management fee.
I am adding those 'reality-check' images ,where appropriate,to give some perspective to inexperienced users.

Lets continue. To remind everybody, since this is a long thread, what I wrote at the beginning:this thread is about Darwinex arrogance, incompetence in picking darwins and being an arbiter of good trading(D-score)and lastly, recklessness when serving their findings to unsuspecting public.
It is not about bad traders/darwins.Unsuccessful trading is not a crime nor exception.Draw-downs are perfectly normal part of every healthy track-record.
