1. a supporter of terrorists cannot claim credit for peace
2. there can be no true peace without truth.

You are repeating your belief without any evidence Corbyn supported terrorists. If this is the case then surely one should hand this information over to the police to investigate and prosecute if found to be true.

I didn't say he deserves credit but simply that he did what others after him did to reach peace. It was effectively change in sentiment in approach to trying to resolve the conflict by dialogue than bullets.

Point 1, is simply your opinion formed by the media giving preferential treatment to what is in some peoples political interest.

As for true peace without truth, I assume it'll have to be something that aligns wiht your beliefs otherwise it won't be true peace. That's a tall order but I can see you are a man of high principals. I'm going to need a longer ladder to reach your intellectual levels.

Choice is one of;

Continue with Tories austerity, rewarding the haves and taking away from the have nots. Falling incomes, rising prices and reduced social services. It's going to be tough love for quite some time.

or

Go with the Labour's give away policy, easing on austerity and probably better managing our way out of this mess, favouring maintenance of social services.


Vote LibDem; best middle of the road option and only party to give the UK a final say on the final Brexit deal when we know what it looks like.

Listen to what Rudd says carefully.

They've cut deficit and they've cut income tax for the very low paid as well as very high paid and corporation tax.

They are not spending and that is the whole point. In real terms spending is being cut.

Moreover Tories have no numbers in their manifesto. No need they are the super party of the super rich. What do people know.

So when they say they're putting 8bn into NHS and 4bn into Schools, in real terms that's a cut because we now have more than 1m elderly people over 75.

Those numbers in no way account for increase in patients & students or inflation and purchase of equipment, with the 15% fall in the pound has had a negative knock on effect.


Tories the slivery snake in the grass lying party of the exclusive rich. Oh but they are putting £500m into creation of grammer schools. Let's bring back them and us much like Labour and their fox hunting vote winning spin of the Blair years.

Kansas’ Disastrous Experiment in Trickle-Down Economics Is Finally Over

The Republican legislature voted to override the governor’s veto and raise taxes.


After years of budgetary ruin, Kansas’ experiment in trickle-down economics is finally coming to a close. Late Tuesday night, the state legislature voted overwhelmingly to override a veto from Gov. Sam Brownback and increase a slew of taxes in the state.

Shortly after he became governor in 2011, Brownback dove into an ambitious effort to reshape the state with massive cuts to taxes and social spending. Brownback sold his plan as a conservative economic overhaul, implementing ideas that Republicans had long clamored for. He paid for Reaganomics guru Art Laffer to help craft the plan and convince wary state lawmakers.

The centerpiece of his plan was a huge reduction in the state’s income tax. Brownback erased the top income tax bracket and lowered rates across the board, with the most benefits handed to the wealthy. And he zeroed out taxes on “pass-through” income, allowing owners of LLCs and other businesses to evade taxes. Analysts warned that such a big reduction in tax revenue would leave a crater in the state’s budget, but Brownback waved away such concerns, promising that the cuts would more than pay for themselves by juicing the economy and creating jobs. When moderate Republicans in the legislature didn’t fully agree with their governor, he teamed up with the Koch brothers’ advocacy organization to back primary campaigns against them and replace them with true believers.

But Brownback’s promised economic miracle never came to pass. Tax revenue has consistently come in below expectations.

A wave of moderate Republicans and Democrats swept into office after last year’s election, campaigning on ending Brownback’s experiment. But it’s still a heavily Republican legislature that voted Tuesday to rebuke trickle-down economics, with bipartisan supermajorities in both chambers backing the override of Brownback’s veto. The legislature’s plan would bring in an additional $1.2 billion over two years by bumping up income taxes across the board and ending Brownback’s exception for business owners.
