Bit of a boxing fan, so thought I start a thread with a few big fights this year.

Never tried boxing myself, too much of a girl.

Done a lot of the training over the years.

David Benavidz retained his WBC super middleweight title at the weekend.
At 21 he looks something very special.
Should fight the winner of the World Boxing Super Series.
Would like to see it against George Groves.

Boxing was compulsory at my school. Meant to toughen us up a bit I suppose.
Bloody hurts though when punched.

Compulsory:eek:

Cricket wasn't even compulsory when I went to school in the UK.

Only football(soccer) and track and field.

I really love boxing. Most of all I like rewatching old fights of Mohamed Ali, Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson. I think it was the golden age of boxing.

Great scarp

Not sure who wins out of deontay wilder v anthony joshua
AJ got to beat joseph parker

Oh, the fight was really exciting. I love watching battles where not only disputes take place, but also the participants are outstanding and interesting personalities.

AJ was different class.
Lighter and better jab was the story.

Next weeks big fight
April
7: Las Vegas, USA - Caleb Truax v James DeGale (IBF super-middleweight)

Just a warm up match for AJ it seems.
Barring going off the rails with his winnings he has a great future ahead of him.
