In the UK, the NHS has sent a panic email to all it's staff asking them to shave their beards.

This based on an infographic published by America's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in a 2017, showing different sorts of beards and whether they are compatible with respirators.

We live in a Twitter age where any amount of twits can spread the lunacy worldwide faster than light.

It’s only flu for Goodness sake, maybe a touch more nasty than other kinds of flu but not more lethal. Anybody’d think the plague was amongst us.

Well today is the 27th and last update they have is the 26th.

84% will only get mild symptoms
15% will get major
6% very serious
2%+ will give up the ghost

I wouldn't be too alarmed unless one has underlying illness or low immunity or is a smoker.

Its not the individual direct affect that we need to be worried about, but the unintended consequences, no transport, curfew enforced by military, no food on the shelves, starving food rioters, widespread looting eventually decending into anarchy.

If it's only flu, then why are govts taking drastic action to try and stop its spread? Oh hang on UKGov is almost doing f*ck all, now you're not going to tell me UKGov is taking the common sense approach for a change?
