A million dollars in 3 months

Hey, that's pretty good, but in answer to your question, it would be hard forme to tell you which one I crawled out of. I have many fond memories of all the cave exploration I did in New Mexico, and Orgon. Even now, here in Ohio, I live about 6 miles from one.
Secondly, my office is called "The Cave" My wife called it that because Tucker and I spend so much time here. We have many wonderful ammenities here in The Cave. Every once in awhile my wife will join us for great conversation. So, thanks for asking. The question does have a lot of meaning and reminiscence for me.
Okay, so to a degree, you have proven you point. You have acttually used 12.5% on all your trades (rounded off). Next point. Are you saying that you made 27 trades during that time, went 27-0, and everyone of them was a 100-pip winner? You are also saying all the trades were gotten at separate intervals, because of each trade being compounded. This means you found 27 100-pip winners in 2 months.
I can't call you a liar, but it is almost inconceivable how you can get 27 trades, 27 winners, no losses, and everyone of them exactly 100-pip winners. You did say "for example", so is that what you actually did? If you actually did that, then allow me to be your student, and you be the Samurai.
Also, those were no swing trades. You did say you are a swing trader. They were more like intrraday trades.
Also, if you punch up 1.1 to the 27th power times 3,000, you will come up with the answer quickly on your calculator. Minus all the rounding off that is.

No I didn't make 27 trades with 100pips profit each as it was only meant to be an example(I did mention this at the end). I know you could just use that math formula(compound interest) but I didn't want to leave anything to chance. Anyway, take care

Some of these dreaming results to me are real by some traders.

These competitions are with live accounts and it draws out the real traders with 40k real prize money and job offers as well...

Yes- and the leaders profits thus far are 111% - this is slightly different from the dreamers here claiming $5k -> $1M in 3 months, right ?

Look at 1997 or 1987 CRAZY huh. these are yearly!!!

What I find more interesting though is the ForEx returns Yearly! now you tell me do you think people at Trade2Win are better FX traders? lol I just wanted to show people there are some really crazy returns out there but doubt anyine here can acheive them and if they truly can they need to open their eyes to the real possibilities of employment in competitions as well.

5k to $1 million in three months is really hard...6 months should do it?

of course then thats doable.

Be sure to risk 90% of account at 400:1 on the NFPayrolls, because Margin stops are more reliable than stop losses during that time.

Is it any wonder so many newbies destined to be in the 95% flock to trading with threads like this?? This thread is pure fantasy.

To be honest, it is impossible for me. Why I say this is I even haven't receive any inquries within 3 months. How a million dollars in 3 months for me?
By the way, I am a trader of furniture.

This wins the "Most Ridiculous Thread" on T2w in my opinion.

Do you honestly think someone (if he/she even exists) who could turn 5K into 1M in 3 months would be hanging around on this forum?

Anyway it's pure fantasy to expect it to happen. If you are extremely lucky it will - but for the majority (>99%) it means a blown account.

That's why nothing has been proven. 27 trades, 27-0, 100 pips per trade, and at separate intervals. It's too farfetched.
Also, you first said you know of someone that did it, and then you said you did it, and then you said you're a swing trader. Nothing is adding up.

It is dreaming, but so is 3K>41K in 2 months.
Those same people who cant' trade for themselves have these advertisements all over the internet, and that is where the garbage is picked up. It could be possible, but bottom line, it's all dreams, because no one has proven it.

I'll throw my hat in here - I'll eat half of it too.

This "anything is possible in trading" stuff is dreaming.

The lure is getting sucked in with no work.
It takes work to develop a sound methodology and then commit to trading by it.

5K--1M was only a query by the starter of this thread. The dreamer is the one claiming 3K--41K in 2 months.
Actually, I'm surprised the results are this low. Based on simple interest, last year's winner at 115% only adds up to 1,150 pips at 10% margining, or 2,300 pips at 5%. This is the winner of a supposed international contest?
Anyway, I wrote them to get the details of how to enter.

Yeah, I like to read the results of those competitions. That is a good measuring stick for what the highest, riskiest robots can do. I've made two ultra crappy ones. I should enter the competition and see if luck factors in.

One of the oldest, most respected. I wish you luck and Hope to see you in their live money winners under ForEx this year.

That world cup challenge seems to me a total joke when you look what you have to sign into. It seems to be purely a recruitment scheme and you cannot even make public your results without approval. Top 5 given $50,000 accounts of which they will earn a profit related payment every quarter?

Also you have to put the $15,000 into an account and not draw off it for the whole year?

Its the usual sort of thng but anyone making good enough money out of trading never needs to go down this road. In fact would as far to say that if you are stupid enough to sign into all this you are probably not the sharpest tool in the box in any case, so would not expect the results to be too high!
