lol. I am actually back in long FTSE stop at b/e again lol. couldnt resist. this time the general conditions are better but could easily be another scratch with such a tight stop. I normally go to b/e when I am up +5 pips. I am a bad loser

Two for me today. 1 loss 0.75R, reversed, 1 win, 2R.

Will be calling it a day unless we get some very solid-looking reversal activity.

lulz account £192.21 very disappointing on a day with great flow, i got punished for constantly looking for the big home run and not taking chunks off the table. got scratched no less than 6 times. I could have easily banked 30 to 40 pips from those trades if I took some points of the table. still ended the day slightly up, I will return to the market Friday. good trading.

Well - you did ask....

Shorted 75 and then took 1st target @ 74, then took another target at 74 as I didn't want to leave 2/3rds on at that point as it looked like it would move back up.

I have no excuses about that last 3rd... pretty dismal letting an almost 4 point profit turn into a b/e - still, looking at the range in the globex, it was a long way down, so I just left it on with a b/e stop and let it play out....

Other than that, corn was pretty much dead too and the baby was sick and then the missus started whining about the fridge door because apparently the fridge "opens too easily" now. This whining put me off after that trade.... I lost the flow and decided to stop for the day.

I'll be out to buy a padlock for the fecking thing in the AM.

Can't buy those here but I do have a fairly new custom built PC. It's been fine up to the past few days.

It'll be fine when the guy comes to have a look at it too I guess...

8 screens would be 4 more than I need, even if I had 1 chart per screen and a separate screen for the platform.

It would look pretty impressive though .

i-phone wasn't it? Because CMC have this great new app, which he was testing out for a decision maker at CMC. It was really good apparently, one of the best new things in our industry from CMC for a long time. That way you can be having your swim whilst you check your CMC trades. Or you can go for your run and place a trade with CMC whilst you're out - you can always be in touch with CMC thanks to CMC's i-phone app.

CMC are a really good company, they're not a bucket shop at all.

And don't forget 8 screens would cut down on how long it takes to achieve several thousand hours screen time

The days of PC crashes are over imho. i use 3 PCs and havent seen a crash in years. the boys run pretty much 24/7.

McAfee uninstall, x_trader uninstall, x_trader install, McAfee install so no trading today. Not exactly planned.

Looking at the open, I reckon I would have gone short on the opening swing high as it pushed through the ONH and then ran out of steam, watched it fall about 1.50pts and then stall there for a long time, got freaked and probably taken 4 ticks off the table. Then watched it shoot up and congratulated myself on a lucky escape.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it

You can keep the pc cool and fek the fridge off as well as the freezer.
