Unfortunately, the talents of our national team far exceeds the country's interest in the sport (soccer, not futbol here!). We are a good bet to get out of the group, but likely end there.

Missed the first game, got the times wrong, but was just out, and the atmosphere is incredible already, all the bars and cafe's etc have their terraces open and huge screens up, public viewing and everybody was already cheering one of the teams that just played on, not sure per what criteria, but nevertheless, at least managed to catch the end with a cold, cold beer !!!

Off now to watch the second outside.

Just had a talk with a buddy and seems the people here where cheering on the host countrys team which sounds good !



I sincerely hope South Africa stay in for a bit longer as otherwise it's going to be crap for the atmosphere there.
