Where have the mods gone?

There's a lot of questionable posts being allowed to stand unedited and undeleted. I'm not complaining - quite a few of them are mine after all - but I was just wondering where the mods are. Do they all go on their hols together?

Yes, I remember...I couldn’t believe my eyes...so many informative and interesting posts about trading.

Why have volunteers? Surely you can see that without moderation this site/bunch of forums could fall to bits inside days..? You should be paying for moderation. if it's a hobby for you then fine, but it isn't it's supposed to be a serious business and you can easily afford a decent (above min wage) part time salary for 2-3 mods off your bottom line. Put it this way, if cv, Lightning, Barjon etc all puke on the favour they do you then you'd struggle to find anyone else to do it for nothing..or are they lying and they do get paid in which case how could you organise a business were they all disappaer at the same time?

TBH when you see some of the filth posted up when Arabian and his new chums are on a weekend bender I'm surprised some advertisers don't just give up on you, particularly if their budgets are cut.

Then when Arab tried to expose Wasp's ponzi scheme all our posts on the subject were censored by her deputy.

You just cant get the staff these days.

IIRC It was T2W's first "community manager" Sue who unbanned Wasp (after he'd been banned for posting child porn). Sue was replaced after that debacle with another candidate (Nika ?) who then promptly went off on maternity leave never to be seen again.

Its not really fair to blame the comunity manager for the Wasp shinnanagins. Censorship of the ponzi scheme which was promoted by Wasp (and another T2W advisor who cannot be named) was a 24/7 job , so most T2W staff members where actively involved in the cover up.

I'm sure the mods recall things rather differently

Dave I like a laugh, a bit of lulz seasoned with the odd bit of trading chat, but some of the ghouls who crank up their pc's and take a seat in this theatre of nightmares each evening/weekend are disturbnig..ooh ooh ang on just getting signal to go short GBP/Yen..I'll be back

anyhow Dave..er, this place is a mess these days..I visit it as a distraction/bit of company throughout the day, I'll make approx 4-5 posts per day, bit like a virtual trading pub you can pop in and out of where the odd drunk may part with a bit of wisdom...and now and again you do.. but some of the posts from the multi nics are nuts..

Maybe I've changed but T2W's standards are non existent atm, listen I'm not advocationg total censorship, none of my business and I'm not that bovvered, we all reach a stage were we tire of certain forums/activities once they serve no purpose (for us as individulas)

As for the mods well the community of T2W deserves a straight answer on that question doncha think?

T2W isnt a democracy, and the very last thing you'll get from anyone is a stright answer to a simple question
