very funny sketch about the "Famous Five" when they grow up and other about the 3-digit security code on credit cards.
(30-mins program)

watch

i've just finished re-watching Scorses's Goodfellas. Magnificent.
But I'd forgotten that the closing credits play out to Sid's My Way.
Had to rewind a couple of times and play it again. Brilliant stuff, sadly missed.

brilliant sketch about the "real" Star Wars;
(paraphrasing)
"Luke, we are going to train you to fly and fight the Empire"
"OK"
"and fly it into a vast building representing the Empires power"
"Sounds a little terroristy"
"No. We are merely a small group of freedom fighters fighting against a vast military-industrial complex"
"Wont I get killed?"
"No. You will live on and become stronger, cos Jedi is the one true religion"
"Still feels a bit strange, what with you a bearded man, living in caves surrounded by a lot of desert"

(you have to listen to the whole program)

(sorry, same again, but is very funny. esp that Justin Edwards, he is viciously sharp. I think he also appears in the radio series The Consultants.)

sub-prime sketch: credit crunch, porridge dollars, gold poo.

then theres Schrodingers Cattery service; your cat is simultaneously well looked after and dead.

classified ads: for sale: orange cat, with distinctive black stripes. defintely not a tiger. £10 for quick sale.

again, you HAVE to listen to it.

its the third part of a series. the first two parts were a bit disappointing, but this one is quite good.

as an aside, you can also watch "The Mighty Boosh" on BBC Iplayer. A tad weird, its definitely something you'll either love or hate.
