I am short USD/CAD at 1.1620

out for -15 - I was trying to play the overnight range on a breakout, and then price jumped back in the range, and out the other side. Not doubt it will reverse again immediately, without me 🙂

I thought I would share this chart with you

FTSE - strategy for Thurs 9th JULY

1 month 1hr chart

FTSE closed 4140 just above pivot S2

4127 key level ............S2 pivot and where 2 dotted trend lines intersect

> 4127 I will look to go long to 4170 possibly 4192

< 4127 I will look to short to 4100



I will be looking to go long on the morrow

waiting to see reaction to 875 on S&P !!

its always good to lock in your profits........

DAX is very strong at present and I expect it to trade above 4600 again tomorrow

Euro 1.385 held

pound held 1.6

Nasdaq held 1400

S&P held 875 ......

All good signs for tomorrow unless the asian session brings something new to the party

Thats interesting WS my gap on th DAX is higher at around 4675?? Have you got your trading hours set to 8am open on the Euro germany 30 Daily cash? I have mine set to 7am open.

yes my friend I have 8am - 16.30 , I use to have 7.00 - 16.30

I keep getting confused ...........what time does DAX open please!!

Not 100% sure to be honest, I always thought it was 7am as the spread gets back to 2 points at 7am which is inline with daily spreads. Does anyone know any different?

GBP - 1.615 - stalled

FTSE 4160 potential short set up

DAX 4624 - DAX long set up at present , 1st target 4650

S&P 885 futures resistance

Nasdaq - the leader is very strong and could bounce back hard today

Financial sector weak today

BUT
Oil/gas sector and mining sector due to Alcoa results are strong

energy is king on FTSE.........high beta and keeping FTSE afloat!!

any weakness there and market will fall .....
