I will use my hedging technique

I am long oil and i have opened up a short on EUR/USD @ 1.4966

I operate my stops manually now anyway

but in order to do this you have have to go to manual stops

slimy IG took out my biggest short by 0 pips (it landed perfectly on the exact stop) so now i have 1 short at BE and one a few pips up.

need to crack my channel at 955

but in order to do this you have have to go to manual stops

closed EURO for 10 pips

now oil = 20 point stop ...............initially it was 30 but the 10 point gain in EUR/USD now equals 20

I will short Euro/USD again if it goes above 1.4960

you can keep doing this and make 10-15 pips a time until your only trade becomes a free trade, only if you know the market

i am short Euro again 1.4966

hedge position against oil

If I want to I can close my oil position break even and I have still made 10 pips on Eur/usd....

can you see how hedging can be very lucrative ......

but you must know what you are doing

Worst case scenario .............even if euro starts to rally, then oil will rally with it so any gain on euro will be nuetralised with gain oil as they move in tandem ....and we all know how quick oil can move

i'm in my final position of the day, i've made 3 bad short calls so far, stopped out on all of them, but i do believe a fall is coming, i think i've just opened way too early...it may be 994 before it turns.

i'm short @ 977

i need a fair few pips to make up for losing yesterdays gains.
