You know i knew that you would do that! Could nt find anyone who would give me any odds though!

A profit is a profit my friend.

I was going to short the FTSE at 4270 - flashed around so much i had a fit!

loads of beginners and a few intermediates really trying to help each other and help themselves in a friendly way...i think we've got a good bunch of chaps on here. i must admit i've been on a few forums where people are a bit jaded and twisted. i hope that's not what trading does to everyone 😱

Yes indeed

I shorted Nasdaq (1456) and FTSE (4282) ............I always use 25-30 point stops on indices

Also shorted Euro using 50 point sop loss........I am still experimenting so I only trade with 50p per point, not reached the level of Sujith yet!!

Geogfract is also good at currency trading ........

I also shorted Oil as i was shorting Euro.......US dollar up = oil down

I still have shorts on Barclays and Lgen ........

I am aslo long on Glaxosmithkline, defensive play if markets fall

I have decided not go for any longs as I can't justify it from chart perspective .....

I should have kept my shorts open

I will call it a day and I am off to cricket practise
 
I have put in buy order for Euro 1.385 ....stop loss 1.38
just before I dash off

I have also put in buy order on Nasdaq 1435 ...stop loss 1420 !!
 
Good evening,
tough day. Lost in the morning, just got back the money during the FOMC announcement, should have waited a bit more to take a bigger profit, but the fear factor came in after losing for the much of the month.
How much did i make today? a Peanut...£21 to be precise!
But a win after a long time...
