The Next US President

Bernie Sanders may have been a socialist but at least he was a likeable person who seemed to be honest in his views...........i dont think the united states would ever elect a socialist though

I think you are right. They seem obsessed by getting rich.

Worrying imho that the UK Parliament is considering direct action over Syria which will involve a war with Russia. Do - gooders really are an expensive liability some times. They may be tired of life but most people aren't so idiotic hopefully.

The only difference between Mussolini and Trump is one had no hair and the other has someone else's.

those people? only one is insane. the other highly qualified.
Possibly piphoe.
The problem the American people have - and I'd have too if I was a U.S. citizen and had to vote for one or other of them - is working out which is which?

As an Americano haven't you seen enough yet?

What other information do you need?

let me make it easy for you.. HRC.

why not your vote?

Joking aside, I wouldn't vote for either of them as they're both as bad as one another - albeit for different reasons.

why is HRC so bad in your view?

seriously interested in your reply cause i get that a lot here in these parts of USA

Okay piphoe, here does . . .
Mrs. Clinton has a long history of lying to the American people. IMO, that makes her 'unfit' for the highest office in the land. End of.

In these troubled times, serious poop goes down almost every day and, when it does, the incumbent President makes a speech or does one of those press conferences outside the White House, it's important that people watching more or less believe what they're being told. Or, at the very least, they believe that the President believes what he (or she) is telling them. When the poop hits the fan, that won't be possible with Hilary. I realise we're talking shades of grey here and your definition of a lie might be different to mine etc. Even so, to the best of my knowledge, no one tells porkies as big and as blatantly as Mrs. Clinton does.

I don't follow U.S. politics that closely but, that said, I don't recall there's ever been such a massive question mark over the basic honesty and integrity of any previous President or presidential candidate. Even Bush - who let's face it wasn't up to the job intellectually, was (and remains) a better option than Hilary. Don't get me wrong, I don't care for Trump at all but, equally, I don't have reason to believe that he will tell bare faced lies to the American people just to further his own political ambitions. Sadly, the same can't be said of Hilary who, based on the current trend, one must assume will unleash who knows how many more lies, with who knows what consequences.
Tim.

Tim.

she has long history of egregious lying, there i expected you to back up this claim..

but instead "i don't follow US politics"?

then maybe you should stfu?

you have your own blonde haired idiot over there

If Chump gets in I can see him trying to run America just like his businesses i.e. for his own gain. He will be frustrated by Congress as they all are but I expect him to try and dispense with that nuisance as soon as possible. The standard ploy of every budding dictator is to blame someone else. In Chump's case the Russians are the obvious target. If the US citizens are scared enough they won't oppose his grab for more power.

. . .then maybe you should stfu? . . .
Charming!
I indulge you with the detailed reply that you asked for - and this is the thanks I get. Unbelievable!

The extent to which I follow U.S. politics has absolutely no bearing on the fundamentals that I clearly outlined. Mrs. Clinton tells lies which will make it very difficult for the anyone, anywhere (regardless of their knowledge of U.S. politics) to believe anything she says.
Tim.

PS. piphoe, here's some bedtime reading matter you're seriously in need of . . .

your pretty much an idiot, know wonder UK is screwed

I used to think British and Americans were fairly compatible ( for want of a better word )..shared a lot of the same values compared to most other countries, but after seeing the type of people you support to be your president I now realise we are world's apart..

I listened to a radio programme yesterday , A documentary about kids in texas are allowed to carry a weapon ( gun) on university campus and in classroom provided it was concieled...lol. It was deemed to be a success as there was only two fatal shootings that term.....:whistling

We are not idiots , it's just that many of us care whether we are being lied to, manipulated etc. unlike some over there.
But it surely is as The Duke would have said a close run thing which of the candidates is the worse, Kermit the frog is a better bet. It would really show up the US system if Kermit was put up as a joke candidate and won.
