T2W Forex Contest - Weeks 9/10

How to enter (Note: this new contest will run for 2 weeks!)

Entry is free and takes just a couple of minutes. First, sign up on ForexDesk, using the invitation code "T2WCOMP" and your T2W username. Once you're activated your account, log in and create a new practice account using the default settings. You can call it whatever you like but you must add "#9/10" to the name, to enter the new 2 week contest. Then make at least one trade during the 2 weeks to qualify for the prize.

Rules

- Contest starts tonight Sunday 10th July at 6pm ET, 11pm BST.
- Contest finishes on Friday 22nd July at 6pm ET, 11pm BST
- Enter any time before the contest finishes.
- The winner will be judged by their P&L for the 2 weeks.
- Accounts must remain public (not private) for the duration of the contest.
- Mirroring of trades to retain first position lead is disallowed and may result in disqualification.
- To qualify for the prize contestants must open at least one position.
- Only entry per person

This week's prize is a very cool Samsung N145 Plus 10.1 inch Netbook PC. (Spec: Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD, Webcam, Win 7 Starter)

Forex Desk is horrible to use!!!

I notice you can link a metatrader account if you use an ea, any chance you can just link a metatrader account without running an ea?

i think you need the ea to connect to fxdesk for sure, not that i'm close to getting it working yet.

Sang, in order to use MT4, you MUST use the EA.. The EA does nothing but transmite the trade to FXDesk, its that simple. The EA WILL NOT MAKE TRADES FOR YOU,

UNLESS, you have another EA attached to ANY of your open charts,

i see that i am not on the list. i started the week as breadman#9 as i did not find out it was a 2 week contest until sometime on monday. i have since changed my name to breadman#9/10. am i in or out.

The problem is your account name, it was breadman# 9/10 instead of breadman#9/10
I've asked the tech guys to look into it.

Middle of the week and we have a new leader, petedeluiz, who has opened up a slight gap over the rest of the field.

We are near to the end of the 1st week of the contest and it's all hotting up! petedeluiz is still in 1st place but there are a few players who are now closing in!

First update of week 2 of the contest and it's all change at the top!
andycon is now in 1st place followed by petedeluiz in 2nd. Still a long way to go and as we know all can change very quickly.....should really hot up by the end of the week.

Today's update and petedeluiz has once again rose to the top spot. But as we have seen during last week's updates 1st place can quickly be lost, so all still to play for!

Middle of week 2 and petedeluiz is still well ahead.....with a few days to go I'm guessing we might still see some changes near the top!

this two-weeker is interesting.
just now, the total of profit is about 52K, or so. (positive accounts on page 1 only)

the next two pages amount to about 45K of total losses.
then it gets worse.

thus, the aggregate losses outweigh the aggregate wins, in dollar amounts, by a large multiple.

Today's update sees a battle for top spot with petedeluiz narrowly ahead of andycon in 2nd place, so it should really become interesting as we approach the final day of this contest.
