Does anyone else use QCharts? And if so, are you having problems logging in?

And yet my account is fine. Makes no difference if I turn my firewall on or off!

What version of QCharts do you have? What server does it link to?

I'm logged on to continuum 2. no problems today. No missing gaps in data either. (makes a nice change)Dont know how to help you.

PK, I run the latest version 5,0,0,3.
I just logged on with my laptop and then back on to my desktop with no probs.

I have 5.0.0.3 too! It hasn't let me log in for weeks! Last time I logged on I downloaded a lot of data, maybe I hit a quota! But all I get: connected OK, then Disconnected.. Then it switches to another server. It doesn't say anything.. and hardly any bytes are sent or received.

Whats the server you connect to?

Hi Hampy

Check under "view" to see if status bar is checked, if it is at the bottom of the screen in the middle you should see the server name eg. cc-04.sc8.finance.lycos.com

Try updating the continuumclient.

failing that, rename the continuum.ini file to continuum.ini.old

delete the continuum.ini file also the mkthours.inf file

close qcharts, re-open and hopefully that should be it.... 😕

The only time i tend to get gappy data is if the server is from the miami farm.

Pres ctrl+alt+n to get a list of servers, then select an non .mia. server

Q Charts Forex Symbols

Can any Q Chart User help me with the symbols for Forex Spot.

I have entered "INDEX:ADY" for the Aussie ( for example), but the intraday data is not
showing OHLC in the intervals in which it should.

It is also showing CME in the Header which makes me wonder whether I am
using the correct symbols.

I would appreciate some guidance here.
