Please help cant remove Adobe Reader

Hi Can someone help me please. I cant access Adobe Reader, To read PFT files. I have tried to remove it from add and remove control panel...But every time I do this, I get a message like this.

The patch package could not be open. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application to verify that this is valid windows installer patch package

I have also tried to down load a new Adobe Reader to over ride it, But this dont work eaither.

Anyone got any suggestions

Hi there laptop

I had a similar problem with sun java not running and unable to reinstall, turned out to be a corrupt entry in the windows installer.

So if you run this little app from bills little outfit and remove the adobe reader entry all should be ok for a fresh install.

you may have to manually find and delete adobe reader before reinstalling, I dont know, try over the top of the old one first.

Looks like you need to follow the instructions to remove a damaged registry key, then remove and re-install 'Plus!'.
